Let’s say we have a multiple-region system as you explained in the previous video. Each region has its own API gateway. Who will decide that a request goes to the nearest region (nearest region's API gateway IP address)? DNS just resolves the domain name to an IP address
Like Amazon AWS 53 route Authoritative DNS does more than just resolving domain name, it also act like load balancer which distribute the traffic to API Gateways
Thank you, Shrayansh, for this in-depth video. I have a few doubts. * Who takes care of scaling the root and TLD servers? Companies like Google DNS, GoDaddy, etc., will handle the authoritative name server scale, but I'm unsure about handling root and TLD servers.
TLD servers is maintained by different comanies like .com by verisign. similarly there are 13 Root servers which is maintained by different departments, i have mentioned in the video. and everything is goverened by ICANN(Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers)
Nice Explanation. Please cover Database design in upcoming videos.
Thanks Shrayansh for the amazing content.
This playlist is enough for interviews
very nice explanation bhai.. breaking down the complex things to simple is your super power.
thanks
Nice Explanation. Kudos to you Shrayansh :)
Simply exceptional - Well done
Very nice explanation. Would have been nice to include a bit about dns delegation as well
Awesome explanation.
Awesome, from where did you gain all this knowledge dude. This one 30 minute video is a summary of reading a 200 page DNS book.
Great videos.pls add Stock market and Uber question
