I love this foundation - my experience - same blurring effect and a just skin like finish. Wore it the first day for 12 hours and looked pretty much the same as it did when first applied, maybe a little more glowy. Did not crease around my eye; did not get cakey; did not break up anywhere on my face. Second day much the same (less time worn). I’d rank it up there with the Surratt Dew Drops. I am in love with this new cushion foundation, I bought it after I saw this video and it's all I'm using now. I have always loved the cushion format, but the chemical spf in almost every single one has irritated my skin...this doesn't have chemical spf in it, so my skin doesn't freak out.

I have a very similar skin tone to Michele, so I always get whatever she has and it works out! If you have doubts about the color-matching (I get it, I would be so unsure), maybe get in contact with their customer service and send them a picture of you? I uploaded a video reviewing this Foundation and I wore it today again. I love it!!!! Perfect for people who like light coverage, glow, and skincare ingredientes. In natural light, my skin is glowing! I love Chantecaille. And their philanthropic activities just melts my heart. I use alabaster in the other foundation and alabaster in the cushion matches well. :) happy about that.
This is a beautiful foundation!! I am not surprised because the Future Skin gel foundation is one of my faves! It looks flawless on your skin and I don't want to send a mixed message but the side of your face without primer almost looks softer!! Oh no, I just bought the Dior Forever Perfect Skin cushion foundation this week after watching your review and now I want this! But seeing as the Dior does not come with an extra cushion I might be able to get thru it in a couple of months and get this.... I just got the Dior also, the refills are only $35 on Selfridges. The Chantecaille costs $128 for the compact and one refill so I’m happy with the Dior for now.

I’m so excited for this review. I’m oily and I’ve found previous cushion foundations gave too much glow and felt heavy and sticky on my skin. I can’t wait to give this a try!
Michele, in general, you probably don’t need a primer with this foundation. But I look at it from this point: if you plan to spend any time outside, you’ll need a sunscreen in some form. So, you can either use this combination that you know works for hours, or you can experiment with another product with SPF, not knowing how it will react with your foundation.
you've turned me on to so many of chantecaille's products, but I'm always so disappointed their persistent lack of inclusivity in their shade ranges. I wish they'd prioritize their BIPOC customers as much as they prioritize their charitable work 😕

It looks beautiful and would love to support their cause (the baby elephants are so incredibly cute!) but I find the shade range really limited and it’s a real shame. Even if it offers light coverage, it doesn’t cater for light olive undertones as the neutral ones lean pink and then they offer a rosy shade... I’ve had these issues with their foundations before, cannot find a match even when I am tan. Hopefully they’ll expand their range to cater for all. I love your top Michele!

Although there is not yet a perfect shade match for me, one thing that was a constant in the comments from my review was that my skin looked really great. So I’m really glad to see that the same is true for you and others who I have seen review cushion foundation so far. You look so beautiful! I tested my shade Mahogany on my mother today, who has a much more golden undertone than I do, and it matched her beautifully. I’m hopeful for the shade expansion. In the meantime I will continue to use carob in the jar formula.
I just received mone yesterday and am wearing today. (Alabaster...same in Future Skin and the Just tint too) I looove it!. It is so comfortable. Chantecaille did have a zoom session last Thursday going over this cushion and I found very helpful. It may be up now...didn't check. They did mention to be careful around the eyelids and guessing it is because it doesn't really budge throughout the day. They did recommend a double cleanse if I remember correctly. The Just tint , in the tube container, is a more full coverage and the Future skin is light coverage and rather on the dewy side for me. Super easy to use. All are super nice on the skin. I guess my favorite is the new cushion one though. It just perfects my skin, very skin like but better, so well and I can do makeup so quickly using this one. Overall, really can't go wrong. Perhaps the biggest hiccup is the price points of the three. But, to me the quality and the company ethos plays a part and I am willing to support that. Hope this is helpful but if there is a another question...ask away.

Great review. I have Alabaster which seems very similar in colour to future skin and Just Skin. LI love it!
Although there is not yet a perfect shade match for me, one thing that was a constant in the comments from my review was that my skin looked really great. So I’m really glad to see that the same is true for you and others who I have seen review cushion foundation so far. You look so beautiful! I tested my shade Mahogany on my mother today, who has a much more golden undertone than I do, and it matched her beautifully. I’m hopeful for the shade expansion. In the meantime I will continue to use carob in the jar formula.

I just received mone yesterday and am wearing today. (Alabaster...same in Future Skin and the Just tint too) I looove it!. It is so comfortable. Chantecaille did have a zoom session last Thursday going over this cushion and I found very helpful. It may be up now...didn't check. They did mention to be careful around the eyelids and guessing it is because it doesn't really budge throughout the day. They did recommend a double cleanse if I remember correctly. How would you compare the different formulas of Chantecaille foundations?
@@AlaraHoop I am in complete agreement of Michele's assessment. The Just tint , in the tube container, is a more full coverage and the Future skin is light coverage and rather on the dewy side for me. Super easy to use. All are super nice on the skin. I guess my favorite is the new cushion one though. It just perfects my skin, very skin like but better, so well and I can do makeup so quickly using this one. Overall, really can't go wrong. Perhaps the biggest hiccup is the price points of the three. But, to me the quality and the company ethos plays a part and I am willing to support that. Hope this is helpful but if there is a another question...ask away.
Now I'm really torn on whether to try this or their gel foundation! Eep.
