Hey Taco Twonz, Great video man, really appreciate all the effort. Can these be installed without the dancing lights when you lock and unlock on a 2021 TRD Off Road? Was watching your Nova install and it looks like if you don't use the bundle extra wires, it's a direct plug and play with the TRD adpater? Love the light but I'm really not into the extra flash, I'm sure I'm not the only one. Thanks for your time.

It seemed like all the new 21 tacomas had the old halogen non led lights I dont get it, why they dont come standard but I wasnt going to buy the truck without them. The style is night and day really crazy stylish different look.
@@Rainoffire yes in the us and yes oem led i just meant the style not the ones show cased in this video my fault. I like the blueish led light but probably wouldnt get them on my truck looks nice with the colors of his truck. So the canadians get these style headlights ?
@@dannymag2596 sorry, I didn't clarify. Canadian Tacomas do not come with the OEM LED headlights, not even as an option, unless it is the Limited or the Pro. In the US, only TRD sport and above have the option. Limited and Pro have it standard. If you bought a TRD Sport with all bells and whistles, then you should have the LED headlights.
The DRL is actually pretty bright - don’t know why people say it isn’t. It’s definitely not blue tint at all, cool white. I don’t regret buying these one bit!
@Al Millon all good! For the most part, yes. But, you will have to splice some wires. Super easy, though. I just found a UA-cam video to walk me through. The worst part for me was getting the fenders off. Broke some clips in the process, but at least they’re easily replaced 🤷🏻♂️
what's the difference between this AlphaRex TRD Pro & VLAND Full LED Projector Headlights because they were look exactly the same but just difference price....any idea?

Beautiful truck! What color is it? Cement or Lunar? both colors confuse my eyes. The Alpha black looks good than regular, wish they smoked out that Amber reflector plate as well. Its too bright.

Yes, theres a cap on back of headlight both sides where you can swap the wiring over to the amber choice to have it run amber instead of white or wise versa

Would like the smoke led. Another question is can you replace the light bulbs or leds of this headlights? (Thinking head incase the lights goes off in the future)
I'm confused... "Projector" headlights were not made for LED's but they still out perform "Reflector" headlights? If this is the case, why did Toyota go back to reflector output and why would you "upgrade" for lower performance?
In actually reflector types have better output performance than projectors. Projectors have the advantage of being smaller and having a crisp light cut off, simply due to design. Reflector types can project most of their lights on the road, while halogen and hid projectors lose a portion of their output due to the cut off bowl. An LED projector style headlight is also both a top to down firing reflector with a projector lens. LED projectors have the advantage of maximizing their light output, being small, and having a crisp cutoff. But there has to be more LEDs in order to perform as well as halogens and HIDs, simply because LEDs lack light throw power. That being said, I had the Alpharex Nova headlights before. And I wasn't impressed with their performance.

The startup light dance is awesome. Also, the sequential lights with the mirror lights is🔥🔥🔥🔥
These lights sucks compared to the Nova edition. The light output on these is actually worse than stock
Check their truck on instagram they even changed their lights to the Nova edition themselves.

If you have all the bells and whistles, then the OEM LED would be part of one of the packages. Unless yours is a Canadian Truck.

I got a question it is normally when u lock the truck the drl light turn on then it turn off while u not using the truck I just notice it my truck?

No we wont be because the install is exactly the same. They are built in so you can warranty it but can't replace it yourself.
