    Good video! Sometimes the best race course is already in your house and you just haven't found it yet. One series of obstacles I like to include is my kitchen table and chairs. It creates a decently narrow tunnel ending in a really sharp S-turn (sort of the shape of a ?)or I'll smack into two cupboards. I've also designed a modular dive tower that I'm really psyched to try once I've printed the last part and bought some 20mm pvc pipes.

      Definitely tons of courses to be made and everything looks like a course to me now. That tower sounds legit

      I'll drop the STLs on thingiverse once it's all tested if anyone else wants one. =)

    I make cheap gates out of 1/2 in pvc you can get 10 feet of it for around 1$ then either get fittings to connect it or just heat it and bend it into a shape

    Just found this. Try to learn tiny whoops. Any updates 2 years later to this?

      Sort of depends. I don't really race whoops anymore, I just sort of do freestyle (tricks). If that's what you are trying to get into then the best advice I can give is to only fly acro, and fly a sim as much as possible. For racing, I'm probably not the best person to speak on that anymore, though I'd imagine the ideas in this video still apply.

    Will flying a sim like Rotor Rush help skill building ? These sims are being made for tiny whoops now.

    📦 Is my dvr here yet?!?! I can’t wait to make a video similar to this. Love the guidance. It’s exactly what I’ve been doing with my NBD BBL around the house. With a 2 yr old I have a ton of gate options to assemble. 😆

    After flying in Sims a lot and trying a real whoop for the first time, I feel like I'll only get good with my specific whoop at first.

    Great Video, Skill'z brother! That looked like it was in acro mode too! I only fly acro "unless" its a whoop. Recently I started flying in Stability mode with the whoops and lots of racer's fly in stable mode as well... I hate suggesting it, but I could see you gain more speed and control in long run with stable mode only with whoops for racing, outside is different story. Just a suggestion and its kinda crappy to learn but I could be wrong maybe that was stability mode, regardless that was fast and a great video!! Awesome track great ideas on how you set it up.

    Does anyone know why my emax tinyhawk keeps dropping mid air when Im holding the throttle steady?

      I think its the range problem. Whoops have really low range, the same happens with my Eachine trashcan when i fly it 50+ feet.

    Great video do you have a video of your whoop setup ? Is it brushed or brushless

    • @iamkeef
      @iamkeef  6 років тому +1

      Brushed. I have a few. Right now my favorite is BetaFPV65S frame, Alienwhoop Zer0 FC, BetaFPV 17,500KV 7mm brushed motors and FX900TW cam/vtx with a canopy.

      I have been looking at the Beta75 Pro, it will be my first whoop , I want to fly indoors and outside at parks on still days what would you recommend the 65s or the 75 pro or something else thanks

    • @iamkeef
      @iamkeef  6 років тому

      dragon121978 65s is what I'd go with. Is the 75pro brushless? If not I'd imagine it would be on the heavy side for a brushed

      Thanks, the 75 pro is brushless and can use the 550mah batteries

    2 qs how do u record and do u use across or angle?

    • @iamkeef
      @iamkeef  6 років тому +1

      To record the FPV feed your receiver(googles or screen) needs to have DVR (Digital Video Recording) feature. I use fatshark googles which has a slot for a microsd card that records the feeds. I fly in both acro and angle. Lately, I have been flying only acro on an alienwhoop build since it is so locked in.
