While I DO agree Kim's relationship with Ron DOES have many strengths, it also has several weaknesses.
The biggest one being the fact she finds Ron's child-like innocence to be deterring or bothersome, in spite of the fact that it's kept him from going down the same social rabbit holes everyone else at Middleton High falls through; Kim included
Absolutely! I didn't care I was already 12 or 13 when it started airing, I freaking loved that show, LOL! It was such good fun to watch!
Personally its not Ron's child-like innocence to be deterring or bothersome, for its Kim' actions and reactions that rub me the wrong way.
Kim & Ron were perfect for each other. Starco was kind of toxic, they had to nuke their own respective relationships to become a couple.
You high on something cause Star and Marco did not nuke their previous relationship they were in.
Jackie and Tom were the ones to break it off with them respectively, they ended it maturely, Star and Marco were in denial of feelings for one another, but both Tom and Jackie knew their bond was something only they had.
So how do Star and Marco end those relationships when they themselves never ended it and it was their SO at the time
@@roguerenegade There was the phone booth incident, Star spying on & nearly killing Marco & Janna & Star revealing her feelings towards Marco. Planting seeds of doubt inside his head.
Star literally cheated on Tom while with Tom, the photo booth kiss, they weren’t actually trapped and didn’t really try anything else, Jackie I feel her relationship with marco wasn’t really that stable, marco actually had better chemistry with Kelly and seemed like it had some benefits and ways that it could develop healthily while starco was toxic, and drug both star and Marco into regressing their development, hurting and abandoning friendships/ relationships around them for each other, not to mention Marco went from feeling like his own char to feeling like the boy toy for star once they got together

Kim/Ron will always be my favorite example of best friends to couple, because they nailed the key ingredient of pacing. We got three whole seasons of both of them growing as both people and as friends, and while there were the occasional hints at them having deeper feelings they never rushed things. Then finally when they were both ready the couple became canon in a perfect way, and even afterwards they kept growing and developing.
Marco and Star was not a 'Will they, won;t they' rollercoaster. It was a 'They won't they won't they won't' train ride across level ground, with an abrupt plummet into 'they will' at the end.

Yeah it just felt so forced. Like one of the reasons Kim and Ron worked because of how they paced it, Star and Marco just suffered went from platonic best friends to “we’re totally in love and can’t process it”
Tbh, Kim and Ron is definitely one of the healthiest relationships in not only cartoon history, but in TV history. It is one of those moments in which its shows a great example of a healthy relationship.
If I recall, this was not intended. However, it gradually developed, and even the makers realized how healthy they were. This is one of the few ships that is done right.
They really are about the only relationship that might beat them is Gomez and Morticia Addams. Mostly because of the fact that after years and three children together they are as in love with each other as the day they wed.
Everyone knows Kim and Ron & Luz and Amity are the most healthiest couples in all of Disney. They’re basically top tier.
I hope Scott and Hailey could reach that level soon. They are meant for each other, and no, not just because the future will be saved because of it.
I agree with everything you said about everyone. In some ways, Hailey is what Kim would have been if she had major shyness and confidence issues with Scott filling the role of Ron.

The thing I love most about Ron and Kim is that even as a couple, their dynamic doesn’t change.
They are still best friends. She still calls the shots. She’s still a damn hero and he has his moments where he can shine like before.
This is why you should marry your best friend.
I really appreciate the way you point out how some tropes that are typically seen as "romantic" or "fun romcom shenanigans" are actually really problematic irl, like Maple with the love potion or Star and Marco wanting to die in order to stay together rather than go on living with the knowledge that the other is still alive and well. I have seen these or variations of these tropes in SO MANY fictional romances and I'm really sick of it. Forcing a non-consensual romance on people is NOT OKAY OR FUNNY, it's a straight up crime. And Star and Marco being unable to go on living without the other even if it means BOTH their deaths suggests an unhealthy attachment.

Amazing and accurate list!!! I’m just confused why Rapunzel and Eugene were shown at the beginning but not included on the list. Especially cause Tangled actually has a Disney Channel series so they actually would count imo!
It's still very sad that Kim Possible was ended simply because of the 60 episode Disney rule. I'm glad they have it and continue to churn out new content, but this is a beloved cartoon of my childhood that will always be remembered fondly.
Additionally, I like how when Ron finally figured out he had feelings for Kim, he was always shown as doing it wholesomely and as a good example. I remember him dealing with it really healthily, even making sure he didn't get in the way of what Kim wanted.
Owl House didn’t need to fight for another season just to see the official couple together. The couple got together before the halfway point of season 2.
PS: They had to fight (and are still fighting for) more Owl House for a completely different reason.

Everybody knows that Ron and Kim relationship along with Lumity are the 2 greatest Disney animated relationships of all time. Starco on the other hand, yeah that one had way too much drama going along with it. I'm a Starco shipper but they seriously could have done this ship way much more better then what we got with it. There was no need or no reason to have the love triangles.
Hopefully Molly and Ollie will get together and the same thing with Scott and Hailey. Don't let Scott and Hailey enter into the Starco phase.

Gotta say THANK YOU for acknowledging how toxic Starco was. I mean the show just HAD to discard everything else it had in order to make romantic Starco a thing. Tom and Jackie deserved those relationships and Star and Marco were AMAZING as best friends.
Platonic Starco amazing, romantic Starco not so much.
Starco delivers the placement that it gets, they both terminated other ships that would’ve been good for them. Plus their ship pretty much destroyed what made their series so good. Also Star was willing to die in a game of truth or dare instead of telling the truth and save everyone’s lives, which was kind of a foreshadowing of things to come when she committed genocide to her Multiverse. Considering that the one who truly praised Star for her actions was Glossaryck (who’s that show’s version of TFS Mr. Popo) for destroying the magic, should have been seen as a Red Flag in general.
I’m so fricking happy to see Lumity on this list! They are one of the sweetest, cutes, and healthiest couples in cartoons. This is an absolute win for me.

Sasha was a bad influence who pushed the girls into doing stuff they didn’t want to. Anne and Sasha ignored all of Marcy’s interests. And throughout the time of the whole show they would’ve had no time to get feelings due to what happened and in the epilogue we know they grew apart till Anne’s 23 birthday

I love Kim and Ron as a couple I think they are perfect for each other. Also I ship Star and Marco I wonder why they don't end up together. And Luz and Amity I like them as a couple as well and Jake and Rose too. And Phineas and Isabella are a cute couple I love that ship. Who else feels like Lumity was lowballed pretty hard here? I mean the first thing they list as to why they don't rank it higher is Luz's habit of lying to Amity. Well that would be fine in a vacuum, but the problem is, she lies to *everyone* to try and make herself look like less of a burden. Further, unlike most of the other people Luz lies to, Amity actually gets her to come clean about what's bothering her every single time (such as "Follies at the Coven Day Parade", "Reaching Out", "For the Future" etc) with Luz trusting Amity with information about herself that even Eda doesn't know about her such as how she confided in Amity, and only Amity, that her Dad had passed away.
Further, Luz helps Amity to resolve a ton of her personal issues before they even start dating, as well as after they get together, so Amity had less things to worry about in regards to herself, and more to worry about with her girlfriend. One last thing, they are the only couple aside from Jeff and Geoff to be a relationship that the audience sees is long term. In the timeskip in "Watching and Dreaming", we see that they are still happily together a full four years after they started dating, with no indication that their love for each other has dulled even slightly. Eda and Raine skirt the line since they have been on again and off again.
I'm okay with Kim and Ron winning if we're going by fan reception, but Lumity should have been in top three at least IMO.
Also don't forget about her their relationship started. Amity was a jerk.

Good to Evil for each season/series of Power Rangers (you can combine series that had multiple seasons like Mighty Morphin or any of the ones that had a second "Super" season like Samurai, Megaforce etc...& Dino Fury+Cosmic Fury)
Evil to Most Evil main Power Rangers villains across the whole series this one you could have multiple sections like starting off with "Redeemed/Reformed villains" & include characters like Karone/Astronema, Ransik & Nadira, Jindrax & Toxica, Marah & Kapri etc.... the next section could be "Honorable/Almost good" villains these are ones who had the potential to be good but didn't get to be redeemed, this may include characters like Ecliptor & Villamax, then make your way to more sinister/evil villains, I'd imagine the ones who rank the highest evil would be either Dark Spectre (the Monarch of all Evil) or Queen Bamsheera since she seemed to be the most cruel & sadistic of all Power Rangers villains

They are not just the best LGBTQ+ couple ever but one of the best couples too. They both care a lot about each other. You know that one couple we always shipped finally gets together but then suddenly breaks up over an argument. It goes like this;
"I had a bad day!"
"Well, I had a worse day!"
But for Lumity, it's like this;
"I had a bad day, but you had a worse day, so your happiness matters more than mine."
"No, I had a bad day but so did you. I don't want you to stress yourself out."
Even before they got together they still cared about each other. Like the time Luz used Amity's wand, causing a monster to kidnap Amity's siblings, now normally this would be the part where Amity would say "Stay here! You'll only get in the way!" but instead she said "Stay here! You'll only get hurt."
Strange, while I did watch Jake Long: American Dragon as a kid and really liked it, I don't recall him and Rose staying together him wishing for her to never been born marked meant that they never met so while he remembers her, she doesn't even know him and he accepted that as let her move away, eliminating any chance of them being a item as that was what was best for her.
