As a rollerblader I've always thought you guys were another step up man, shit like this is crazy. I tried a board for a while and it was just hard for me to get a grasp on controlling and balancing something independent of me. The only thing that's probably easier for you guys is safely failing a trick, you can kick the board out and land on your feet but these wheels are strapped to me, if I eat shit I'm just eating shit lol.
