That series reminded me of how I used to love mathematics. So I got back into and decided to pursue Actuarial Science. Preparing to take my first 2 actuarial exams, Exam P and FM, in March and April respectively.
Been a huge fan since I stumbled across your imaginary (lateral) numbers video series! Really excited to watch you new stuff (esp. with Oppenheimer releasing soon)
Dude I remember watching your videos for the first time and being absolutely shocked that a single person was behind them. I always thought that it was a team of like 15-20 professionals. You are an inspiration to all edutainment UA-camrs with your consistency and quality. I hope you put up your tiktoks as UA-cam shorts as tiktok is banned in my country.
I was about to enter graduate school for my bioinformatics PhD when I had finished watching your computer vision series and it was a heavy inspiration for me wanting to work in machine learning during my graduate studies. Since then, I now have several published papers in ML in biology and have a PhD!
You are amazing. On your website, in your workbooks, on Tiktok and on UA-cam, you are absolutely singular. Take your time, do things in a pace you like, we will wait:)
Wow! It’s really amazing to see that you’re back. Your imaginary numbers series really inspired me to go further into STEM when I was starting high school. Now I’m about to enter undergrad for mechanical engineering with a strong background of calc 3, linear algebra, and proof writing under my belt along with the dream of becoming an engineering researcher.
I'm very excited to see what you've been working on! Your videos on Neural Networks were so helpful to me as an undergraduate, and now as a PhD student I always recommend them to my students when I TA the ML class :)
Wow, it was just last week I looked into what you were up to after so many years, and to my surprise, "what you were up to" was making videos again! Glad to have you back, your videos were immensely helpful to me as an undergraduate, and I'm excited to see more.
Welcome back! I was 14 when I started watching the Imaginary Numbers are Real series, it was insanely eye-opening. I'm 21 now and starting a bachelors' degree in Germany, it's amazing to see how far we've all come! I'm going to relish your new series.
Happy to see you back your videos and explanations were amazing. Super unique creator. I'd love to see you tackle probability, Kelly criteria and that whole realm
The other day I for some reason thought of your channel and was curious what you’ve been up to. I then got even more interested after seeing your TikTok’s! Very glad to see you back here 😊
I'm new to your channel and have really enjoyed your videos on the making of the atom bottom. Having just watched this video, I'd love to hear more about your experience making these videos. They are truly impressive, and I'd love to hear more about how they are made as I'm considering making something similar (though I'm sure much less polished) for the electric grid and energy resources. And a huge congrats on fatherhood. Also a new dad and its quite the experience.
Yes, I would love to hear your journey, the challenges, strategies, struggles, successes all of it. And by the way, the complex numbers series is like Oscar worthy stuff in teaching domain. Welcome back buddy and Hearty congratulations.
Congrats on the growing family and welcome back. I found your imaginary number series to be revelatory, and I've often wondered if you would return. Happy to see you excited to make new content!
(I rarely comment on videos) I am very happy to see you! I am extremely thankful for your content which made mathematics beautiful for me! You enabled me to see the art in the areas i never expected!
Don't know when but along the way i subscribed to you, and today i was a little surprised to see you on my feed. And i went through your videos list and now I'm watching them all again.
Pleasantly surprised to see your new video pop up in my feed. It’s weirdly nostalgic. Congrats on being a dad - they grow fast, so take a few moments to just enjoy the present.
HE'S BACK. Your videos were the hallmark of my Computer Vision course last Spring at UNC Charlotte. Glad to hear you're doing all right and congratulations on your growing family!
I am very excited to watch this series! My grandfather was a high ranking electrical engineer in the Air Force during the Korean War and the cold war. He worked at Los Alamos and Area 51. He didn't work on the Manhattan Project, but he worked on some of the other weapons of mass destruction. But unfortunately he died of alcoholism and was never able to articulate his experiences nor explain to me what he worked on. My family says he was a genius when he was younger, but he was unfortunately a human potato my entire life. So I am very excited to watch this and learn more about the history of my family, including the scientific side, because I study physics also! I did learn about atomic physics, but not in this context.
Whoa.... Long time no see ese I had subscribed to your channel around 2017 when I was in college. Feels afresh to see your video on my feed now again ❤️🇮🇳
Just recently I remembered you because I saw your name appear in a 3Blue1Brown video. Glad to have you back, and good luck with getting the algorithm to bring viewers to you again (I'm doing my part by writing this very comment!).
Great to hear that you are back, have loved your older videos. I bet you are exited for the oppenheimer movie 😁 would be nice if you could do a video on your favorite books. 😊
I can’t believe you will make new videos! Your channel is one of my favourites and I was so sad that you didn’t post anymore… looking forward what’s new to come!
Glad you are back. I don’t use TikTok. I’d be interested in seeing here a compilation video of the stuff you posted over there. And of course I’m interested in what your journeys been like and your perspective on why how we discovered ☢️ is so interesting.
It's kinda funny that you mentioned 4 years in the context of an undergraduate degree cause I just graduated! No doubt, part of the reason one of my majors was mathematics was due to your video series on complex numbers. Super stoked you're back!
OH MY GOSH!!! WELCOME BACK! For years, I've been circling back to your channel every few months in the hopes that you will start creating content again. Your videos are amazing - the way that you see and explain mathematics is incredibly unique and insightful, and I think your talent in line with Grant Sanderson. I hope this time your channel gains more traction so can maintain the motivation to keep creating. The UA-cam community will be so grateful that you're back. Also, glad you've been well, done some awesome things and CONGRATULATIONS on being a dad!
The first video of yours I recently saw was "Oppenheimer's Apocalypse Math". As soon as I saw illuminated equations with clear indications of variables, I knew I had to subscribe. As someone who used to work as a professor, I never got to your level of animation, but I am curious to know about the changes you underwent. I am going to watch all of your videos before updating if I find the answer there: with your experience in neural networks and commendable attention to detail, how do you manage questions that you have answered in other occasions or how do you deal with repeating yourself? When teaching general chemistry, I thought I remembered my chokepoints well enough, but sometimes I was not even sure how to redirect students who were only focused on getting a good grade before moving on to the next class.
Agreed. Man teaches physics better than 90% of my professors from undergrad! FIRST time I intuitively understood wtf Bremsstrahlung is! Also slightly freaks me out that I actually understood the whole equation and could work it out with a bit of reviewing my old course materials! The cultural mythos has built this sort of maths up into spooky occult shit when it is really just everybody’s undergrad STEM homework. 😂
I remember your imaginary videos series! Thanks for being such an inspiration to up-and-coming UA-camrs like myself 💛
Mans been gone so long people think they just imagined his videos and they never existed...
jk I loved that series as well
That's awesome!!
That series reminded me of how I used to love mathematics. So I got back into and decided to pursue Actuarial Science. Preparing to take my first 2 actuarial exams, Exam P and FM, in March and April respectively.
I am glad you are well dude, and congrats on being a dad
Thank you!

OMFG. “Atomic bottom.” That is a hilarious typo. “Bikini Atoll” puns cannot be resisted there… 🤣🤣🤣
Glad you are back ! 1st video I watched your Neural network one ! & Congrats on being a father !!!
