love the guardians movie its what got me into comics as an adult a few months after i watched it i was reading bendis guardians run next thing i know im collecting LOL:: i was raving about that movie a year before it came out & was not disapointed also is what got me into marvel movies i liked blade & hulk part 2 but after this flick it was a wrap. love the way youre dishing out them videos cant wait for the live streams
Gem Mint Collectibles You could do a series of videos with all those Omnibus that don't really fit into any particular series. Those "one-shot" Omnibus.
Late to this one but does anyone know if Guardians of the Galaxy Tomorrow's Heroes omnibus had two covers? I'm seeing a "classic" looking cover on some sites which I would prefer but I haven't actually verified it.
There are in fact, two versions shown in photos. One, with the original cover of Marvel Presents #3 shown exactly as it was on the original issue of the comic. The other, is an enhanced version without any text but "Tomorrow's Heroes". I am a completist, and have struggled to find a physical copy of the original cover version. It may be a stock image situation, and the cover shown wasn't what was finalized. I have ordered what was shown as the original cover, only to have the "other" show up..This has been a mystery for me as well, and to be quite honest, a source of frustration😅
Dogmo Satchmo thanks for responding. Yea I’m pretty sure the “classic” one was never actually produced, but I’d love to be proven wrong. I would much prefer that original art on the cover.
Is there going to be another gaurdians omnibus cause i just finished the bendis book and it was really disappointing not anywhere as good as the 2008 war of kings gaurdians book

The Bendis run isn't bad. But you can definitely see that he probably just watched the Guardians movie and wrote the characters just like the movie.

Gem, is the solo classic sequence all over the place or did they sequence it well enough that the whole run makes sense. Planning on picking it up
it's a compilation book, i havent read it yet, but it seems to just bounce from one character to the next. there isnt any overarching story

Anyone have pros and cons of Abnett vs Bendis Omnibus'?
Abnett is all collecting on War of Kings...so if you have that, the Abnett run is not needed. Most people dont like the Bendis run.
