bhai pahle open chord shapes ko play karna/hold karna seekho...once after u gets comfortable then with the help of a metronome try switching between different chord shapes..

For this hold the chords whichever u r playing with ur fingertips with proper thumb pressure at the neck of the fretboard...

Firstly tone or semitone ka koi formula nhi hota...this are basically the distance between two notes....Also for this u should know some concepts about music theory...for eg, if we consider two notes say - C and D then the gap between C to D will be called as tone whereas if we take C to C sharp it will be called as semitone...hope u understood..
