I actually like the suit not changing during surge so you could use whatever you want like the black raimi suit, but I think there should be an option to choose which suit you want for surge as well as have a "current suit" option
I just quickly change suits mid surge transformation then change back to my original suit once surge is done

Im not going into the menu to switch suits every time i surge. Insomniac is lame for this.

They should add the option to change the spider-dash and spider-jump traversal animations also. Being able to switch between tendrils/arms for Peter and orange/blue lightning for miles. Another great addition would be an ability upgrade. To be able to use any ability on any button instead of their assigned slot would allow for much more dynamic and personalized combat.
Glad they’re still planning to update though
To get Max EXP I just wedged myself inside of a crane which leaves Spider-Man stuck in falling animation and you can keep doing tricks. After 4 seconds press the x button to do a web zip which will reset the EXP counter and you can constantly get 400EXP every 4 seconds
having the agent venom suit would be dope

The small details go a long way, but the big details like having an extra tendril colour, like red for carnage variant suits, would go an even longer way 😂😪
I haven’t seen anyone talking about the physics change to the arackhanight and shadow spider suits
You can do cool takedowns like that when you have at least two of yellow bars for abilities but only with big guys and special characters

When I was doing the side mission of the drone in Brooklyn Visions. I was gonna take a picture of the school and I was teleported outside the map. I don't know how but I managed to explore a bit
Id hope they would make a toggle for suit lock so in cutscenes when you get the black suit it changes to it. (Someone eho likes just using the default suits) and wants the same experience from thw first playthrough lol

One other issue: the textures on Peter’s classic suit are blurry now. Specifically the webbing on the body
open world music change was always in the game. the finisher too but it was rare as hell
The only issue I've had is the game soft locked in the high school mission cause the guard wouldn't go through the door so I couldn't web zip to the roof to continue
But overall been loving the game
same issue. What worked for me was holding R2, then pressing & holding X to charge your jump. This fixed it for me
It wasn't a soft lock, you are supposed to jump to the ceiling using R2 + X. In NG+ the game doesn't give you instructions in certain situations like in NG.

I think they added an invisible barrier in the construction site during the mission where you meet up with jjj so that you can't swing around as Peter now
I was parrying with the iron spider arms, I had all of the abilities set to the arms and never really used the rage mode.

The switching act music was a thing for the very start i remember swinging like 1 day after release and being able to change the music
Changing the open world music to the different acts was possible before the update.
I noticed it’s easier to exit Wind Tunnels.
In the movie, aren’t the shoe bottoms on the ASM2 suit black? Insomniac had them black originally and they updated them to red. Just curious as to why this change was done to be different than movie.

I’m just really hoping they add the 'Last Stand' for Peter. He has so many spandex suits, but none that could be used as street wear. Miles has one (my favorite suit for him) 'The End' suit.

Hope they give us a lengthy expansion or dlc for how short the game was. I believe the first game had 3 dlcs which came pretty quickly. Not sure why things have gotten slower but this industry has really started dragging there feet.

Those first 3 dlcs for the 1st game were planned cut content for DLC so thats why they came out so fast. They were already made as part of the main game but decided to chop it up for extra dlc money

Yes i want the surge to pop on even when wearing regular suits i want to play through the game with the amazing 2 suit and then venom surge and be in the black suit also i want to be able to pick which black suit it uses so i could select the rami black suit as my surge but still wear the regular rami suit underneath that would be perfect
1 playthrough of new game plus does not get you enough to unlock the 2nd upgrade equips nor the golden tech stuff. Or to even get the suits cause it's not enough xp.

All the changes are bery cool but insomniac didn't removed the floating concret assets and the bugged rock on the railroad on the east of williamsburg >:(

Idk why but I got a new ps5 slim right? So it runs perfectly fine. But except with this new update for Spiderman the fans on my ps5 just ramp up randomly sometimes and it doesn’t do it with any other game
And it never did that before with Spiderman but now it does with the new update
@@Little_XD358omg yes! I have that exact same issue! I knew it wasn’t just me! I even contacted insomniac games and they said there’s nothing they can do about that. I bet that they were unaware about the issue was the thing. I knew it was the game and not my system. They need to fix this. If the update did this, it has to be 100% fixed because this is a big issue and it’s annoying. It’s obnoxious. I hope a fix comes very very soon especially if they know about it by now. I really hope they are aware.

The unlimited, flying glitch and breaking the barrier were by far the most fun I had playing this game. Annoyed, they patched it.

It is the skill where you do 50 percent extra damage in air choose the other one with 10 x combo and it will go away

I love Spider-Man
Although overall I thought this game was great, I didn't like the story as much as the previous two games and I was disappointed that there was shockingly no way to change the time of day/weather after the game was finished, especially considering not only was it in the previous two, but the day time they default it with is one of the plainest looking, least attractive time of day and weather they have in the game as some of the skyline views during the story can be beautiful. I'm not sure how necessary I'd find a new game plus since I already did everything in it and I wasn't super into every story part, but no new game plus at the beginning was weird too. However, the game plays super well and looks and sounds amazing doing it, and a few of the side missions were exceptional, albeit simple. I'm reinstalling it now just to check out what's new.
