Jeez it was only 10 overs but they took CJ to the cleaners
Big news: Capt Pat has signed on for San Francisco for 4 years in MLC, more sensational than Buddy's contract with Sydney, I reckon.
Might be available in... two of those years?

Is this the "before" pic then?
If England had been able to start their innings - reduced to ten overs - would they have had a powerplay, and how long? Is it reduced in proportion to the length of the innings - so three overs..? If so they are penalised twice - once with the calculation increasing the target - and secondly when they lose half the powerplay overs
Think it's been recently tweaked for T20, as the same formula was used that's used in 50 overs.
It seemed harsher for the chasing side beforehand, and now has got worse. It turns out that knowing how hard you need to press when chasing is a bigger advantage than it seems though, and this has to be reflected in the calculation.
So the powerplay overs are reduced?
It seems very difficult to turn into an equation/algorithm. On one hand the team batting first has more use of the powerplay restrictions - but at the same time Scotland were batting assuming it was a 20 over game, not a ten over slugfest.
Would be interesting if a Australian gane gets washed out.

ENG v AUS T20 WC match 2021 in Dubai ENG bashed AUS
ENG v AUS played in the Final of the 2010 T20 World Cup in West Indies
14 years later in West Indies ENG will play AUS again in a group stage match
Not entirely sure if there's a pattern here
