Another absolute banger documentary style vid. Your photos really captured the atmosphere of the locations you visited. Would love to see these in a zine or some sort of print collection. Really beautiful work Chris.
Your video made my day after work :) Brings me back to 2018 when I was in Hong Kong for 2 weeks for work. Unfortunately back then I wasn't into photography yet. Great city and awesome people! Back then the political tension was slowly starting to rise and how it went we know today. What was your experience when you talked to the people during your trip? I remember one colleague of mine wanted to migrate to the UK, since he has family members there. Another one would like to move, but didn't had the possibility to do so. Great video and aawesome shots man! Although I have a light meter I still struggle to expose correctly with film. Do you actively use the M6 light meter or do wing it due to so many years of experience?
I also was cautious about street photography amid the political atmosphere, but the locals I met told me that it's less tense and photography isn't controlled on the streets. There are still police walking around pulling people over randomly on the sidewalk for random ID checks Lastly, I actively use the M6 meter, but I still zone focus
Interesting to see HK from a foreign perspective. People always think they are being original but it’s actually cheesy cliches. And what’s with the Terrible Charlie Chan music.
The b&w is pure fire.
Spent many years visiting Hong Kong, but not the same now freedom has been curtailed.
care to elaborate? what specifics of freedom are effected?

More information can be found at the Council on Foreign Relations and Freedom House. 👍
As a fellow ABC, there’s definitely a longing to make that connection to HK. Thanks for the video and inspiration to shoot some B&W film there
Great to experience a part of this trip with you through this video! Those film shots have beautiful colouring...! 😍
so excited to watch this!!!
Lived in H.K. for more than 15 years and you've been to places I've never seen or passed by. Thanks for the video.

Glad you had a cool trip in HK. I love it here so much to see

Hong Kong is so underrated in the travel destination totem pole, but obviously I’m biased lol
Asia trip zine maybe? Could be a cool way to show off a bunch of pics from the trip!
been talking about it with a friend, might do a show
Always great work 🧡
Hey, my wife and I are in Hong Kong right now. We just spent today at and around the Man Mo Temple. I recommend it.

nice vid! what kind of camera are you using to shoot yourself while walking?
👏👏👏
That was great! Thank you. Did you see much homelessness, if any? Did you ever have any fear of getting mugged?
Homeless people in Hong Kong are usually friendly
