- The song "Body Mind and Spirit" tells a story of the power and beauty we all hold within ourselves. The power of will, visualization and focus. The power of our mind. The beauty of our spirit. The incredible versatility and potential of our bodies.
It`s a story of a soul in a higher dimension who has an urge to experience music. In order for this to be possible a reality in the third dimension was required. Firstly the spirit needed to create the mind. This is all happening in the higher dimension which was expressed by the brownish scenes. The desire was then uploaded to the bodies in the third dimension, yellowish scenes in the video.
The spirit and mind now had bodies and were eager to get together and create music for the spirit in the higher dimension to experience.
The entire story is a figment of the spirit`s imagination as you can see towards the end of the video that it is all coming back to the spirit.
Our mind is very methodical and is represented by the rhythmic drum, Shri Khol. It is keeping the beat for the soul to be able to express its melodic and creative side through the handpan.
There are also three rhythms in the song. A slow rhythm represents the body and its conditioning of the third dimension. The faster rhythm represents the mind and the change of rhythm in the end represents the free spirit that explores all possibilities and everything else has to follow soul`s rhythm.
We wanted to challenge ourselves so we decided to film the entire video with only a drone that would represent the view angle of the spirit in the higher dimension.
