    Great video. Just got one as a gift and your unboxing was very helpful in letting me know how to use it. Keep up the good work.

    I know a few folks that have that Rowena iron and they really like it.

    I have one too that I bought to replace an older one that someone had given to me. I love it except that it's not easy to see the water level. Other than that it's great. It's also very useful that it can sit on its heal which is why I didn't change brands. The other leading iron like this one does not allow that nor did my older steam pro. Amazing steam and great iron.

      Curious to know why you are not using that iron anymore? Did it start dripping and spitting as regular irons do? I was hoping all that would be negated by the separate iron reservoir. Can't tell you how many irons I have gone through over the years!!

      @jostauffer6637 I use this iron daily. It’s one of the best investments I’ve made. I haven’t had any issues with dripping or spitting. It far exceeds any iron I’ve used in the past.

    I’d keep the water chamber thingy lol under your pressing table in that basket area where the oliso lives. That way you have longer cord and better reach!

    Thanks for sharing. I’m curious though; how does it suck water from the tank to the iron itself?

  • @jm91644
    @jm91644 Місяць тому

    I like it but for me, the cord is too short. I do not have a big table to keep it on top. I just barely got it so I am still learning about the buttons to the sides of the power

    What kind of water do you use? I here some say just tap water and not to use distilled because it can put brown spots on material. Great review!

    • @trade1for2
      @trade1for2 9 місяців тому

      Use distilled, reverse osmosis water or at the very least filtered water. Tap water or unfiltered well water will leave a residue.

    So, I am guessing the pads on the base are kevlar or something that won't melt. I just got mine in the mail from Amazon and was curious about that so went to the YT for answers. I didn't see yours melting when you set the hot iron on the base so I guess that answers that. Thanks for the video.

    Seeing the tank holds a ton of water, I’m wondering if it starts smelling musty if it sits for a couple days? Is it recommended you empty it after each use?

    • @TheCraftyAuthor
      @TheCraftyAuthor  Рік тому +1

      Great question! So far I have not noticed any musty scents. The longest I’ve left water in there is 3 days. I forgot to empty it. Yes, it is recommended to empty the tank each time your done with the iron.

    It says if you use spray starch, spray it on the back of the fabric and if you use the eco button, let it heat up first.

      @@dhrtiwalter8670 You don’t need to clean the cord the water travels through. It is attached to the iron and tank. It has a compartment on the iron that collects calcium buildup and you do need to check, empty and clean that. 😊
