I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (January 1, Christmas 1), this was our New Testament Lesson (or Epistle) of the Day. Now, the Christmas Season is about over. Churches across the world will be taking down their decorations and closing the book on another Christmas Season. But it will be picked up again on or around November 26, 2017. And may everyone reading this has a Happy and Blessed New Year.
2 COR.5:15 JESUS DID THIS TO REMOVE DEATH, AND THUS FEAR OUT OF THE LIVES OF ANY; WHO HEAR, AND FAITH ARRIVES. ROM.6:23 THE GIFT FROM GOD. LIFE. SATAN CAN ONLY BRING DEATH. 2 COR.5:15 GIVE YOURSELF AS A GIFT TO JESUS.
This is silly - there is NO "great God Jesus". Please read the Bible - "Jesus of Nazareth, A M-A-N, attested to BY GOD..." Not sure how much more clear that God could have been. This pastor is in great error.
