I thank you for the fabulous video today, JT! Spectacular trains, views, and pet shots. You have yet to disappoint me, JT, and I really don't think you will. You need to take care of yourself out in the hot weather, my friend. We're not as young as we used to be! I'll chat with you later. Thanks again! 😃😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤❤
Technically it was a triple train meet. The one on the bottom was there first. It was just standing still so you didn't notice it at all. But it was moving by the time the West bound on top had finished. Great catch.
I never get tired of watching trains crossing over that very impressive bridge in Kenova, WVa, my home state. Coal used to be the lifeblood of that state even back when I was little, don’t know about now but glad to still see them. Another brilliant video JT. Be well.👍🏼
Thank you for this second video of your visit to Kenova, West Virginia on 21 June 2024, Jaw Tooth! Your catch of the two trains crossing the bridge at the beginning of this video was awesome. The loaded Norfolk Southern coal train that came to a complete stop got up to speed quickly after it was given the okay to proceed on its way. The double stack train crossing from Ohio to West Virginia over the bridge was a long train. I liked the location that you found to view the empty CSX coal train. The walk under the railroad bridge gave us a clever idea of how the bridge was constructed. This bridge was built with supports made of large blocks of rock or concrete. Most supports for similar bridge are made of steel. (25 June 2024 at 1249 CDT)
Love the shot of the meet on the bridge it keeps happening! Lots of coal trains too which is great. They keep the lights on! Just not in the UK. It will be candles for us soon! Great video from Kenova JT. ❤😊🥰👍
That was an awesome Video, Jaw Tooth especially from on top looking down the bridge toward the River. Thank you so much for doing that!!!!! Have a great day and stay cool and hydrated. This heat has Been bad down in Central North Carolina, Smithfield area. temps around 100 and heat index up to 109, No rain until Thursday night and be glad when it comes and cools us down. I stay inside, my wife is the Gardner, lol. Always working in the garden. Later, my Friend, and thanks, Brian.
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in Kenova, West Virginia, I like them, they're awesome, I already uploaded the video of mine, that has the CSX M353 and NS 171, in both short and long video, @JawTooth,, Brian, thank you very much and have a nice day.
Great to see the coal trains still rolling over there. Have cousins that woeked in the coal mines in Wyoming in rhe 1880,s.That,s a seriously long train, never seen anything like that in England
Oh my goodness! My husband Tony was so surprised and excited to see a happy birthday message on this morning’s video. Thank you. What a long coal train. We love the bridge shots but the over unders are really cool
Between Scott and you, that's a well documented meet. Cool electric car fuel action. Coal miners are some of the great people that helped build this country, hats off to them. Excellent Kenova video, enjoyed it much. Thanks JT!
Great catches jaw tooth! The 5 car Thrall articulated ttx versions that are 40ft wells are all rebuilt versions. When 48ft containers became defunct, ttx took all 48ft wells and cut them down to 40ft wells. The 40ft versions have the car ends black on both sides of the trucks they ride on. That's the easiest way to spot them.
Great intro and creativity Jaw Tooth. I love how you’re always looking for new angles to film from, it really makes your videos fun and interesting to watch. Thanks for your efforts and have a nice day!
Awesome video! Thanks for taking us underground. I could see traffic going under, but never a good tour like you took us on. Sure got some good action at a high level!
Thanks JT for more from Kenova. I love the coal train, very long one. Also the intermodal on the bridge in the sun. Cool bridge and walk through too. Stay safe. ❤
Coal trains will never pass into History. bituminous and sub bituminous for power generation might slow in the US but it doesn't mean the export market will die. check out the new Metallurgical mines in the South and East that load trains
Excellent Video as always. In the first part of the video where the 2 way meet happened, there was a third train there. It was stopped under the bridge at the opposite end from where you were. Excellent Video as always.
Two big railroad bridge fires this week. BC railway bridge at Richmond, B.C. and Harpers Ferry (WV) railroad bridge fire. What is going on? Thanks for sharing JT.
This video is awesome! That new “from the top” angle of the long bridge trestle is phenomenal! I really enjoyed the walk through the pedestrian section of that train bridge underpass, too. You just keep bringing great new stuff, Jaw Tooth! Thanks tons!
Those were some monster trains. That's allot of coal. Hard working folk💪💪that was a cool shot on that intermodel bringing it all those colors. Great job. Pretty ducklings. Thanks for the video Brian stay well roll on
Thanks for the gas money Mark! The kids got the ducks but I'm not sure what they are going to do with them. We have coyotes and foxes around here so they aren't really safe on the pond. I think a coyote got my last duck. Anyway thanks again and have a great week!
@JawTooth your welcome. Surprisingly there is coyotes around me, seen one live, and one as a road kill. My cat is an inside cat for her protection from both. Enjoy your week, be safe
Whilel you did have some breaks thosetrains just keep on coming whether it's the local or a fast Intermodal or a visit from a coal train. Last night there was a special on public TV entitled King Coal as seen through a younger child's eyes it appeared to reflect more upon the area around Mingo Junction OH but there was a comment that coal is neither pure nor dirty. It is an element. All that was missing was that to move this element you have to add an "R" for Railroads
JT you look like you was about to have a stroke you were so hot your face was red as a pepper but anyway, my friend another awesome video and thank you for getting out there in the heat to bring us a video every day to watch and as always, my friend, you stay safe out there Stay hydrated and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
Have you seen any jawtooth tags lately? He was a character. His videos are the one that got me into watching you guys do trains. But he was special. He road them
Great video man they are booking where is this area from you know I like this area that you film especially having a bridge and the bottom of the railroad on the bottom that’s a great place to catch them trains with DPU’s
I was just there yesterday! We were passing through on our way home. 3 trains in about 30 minutes. I was tempted to take those old stairs up to the top but I figured I’d get called in. Met a couple nice people there too.
Great video.... Amazing bridge...I live in the SF Calif bay area and we have the longest train bridge west of the Mississippi river..It's the Benicia railroad bridge that spans across the bay....
Hey Jaw Tooth Good Morning.I Do alot of Hiking in West Virginia and Virginia. If I was You I would carry a Canteen of Water with me next Time You decide to Climb up a an Embankment. Stay Hydrated and Be Safe. Have a Blessed Day 😊

Great video Jawtooth! That other train snuck up on you, I can see why a train can easily catch someone off guard if they were walking the tracks 😅

Now that's a looooong slow coal train. Surprised it didn't have a DPU on the rear.
A massive coal load, good memory of what will soon pass into history
Thanks for watching!
Not too soon.
I hope like Brian stated, _"This represents a lot of jobs right there"_ .

(2:18), There are 4 tracks way to the right, that merge into 2 tracks that go over the bridge...is that correct?
