The scoundrel Kay Vess attempts to become a successful criminal despite having some pretty bad luck. After getting her data spike repaired, she breaks into the Sixth Kin headquarters and steals something of value. Unfortunately, the intel she received about the job failed to mention there would be traps and now she is on the run.
