Want a theme song entering New York City? Blast this one on the Pulaski Skyway in NJ heading to the Holland Tunnel. Look at the city as you drive, especially the lights at night. It just fits!
One of Masters at Work's greatest. I was in the building when Little Louie Vega played this at Sound Factory Bar in NYC for the first time. Crowd went nuts. Definite good times back then.
It's my daughters 22 birthday and we are dancing around to this in this living room.. the good old dayzzzzzz 💚💚💚 29.11.97. thanks for the up load.🧡🧡🧡😘😘
Timeless work of art... can't be replicated nor duplicated. The essence of House. An every occasion piece of work. Listen to, Drive to, Dance to or just move to great music. Elements transcend genres. The label has put out some of the best House traxxx there ever was... Ooooh weee!! All day, lovin' it!!!
it's not just the nervous track. it is/was/will be the whole NUYORICAN SOUL 12"vinyl box from back in the days, including a sweet tears - roy ayers 12" white copy inside. masters@work from a- z !!!
Just absolutely wonderful - heard for the first time in a few years at Defected Croatia earlier this year. Can’t beat hearing old classics on live sets. ✨🍄💃✨☯️
Yes, it's a house classic -- but it's also one of those timeless pieces of music that transcends genre. A magical, hypnotic groove for the ages...bliss.
The early days of Ministry of Sound...you know when it was a Dry Venue, the bank holiday August weekend and Ministry was Open all weekend and Kenny Carpenter played this...
I lived it. Sound Factory, Save The Robots, Sound Factory Bar. I get goose bumps thinking back to some of the times going down the Westside Hgwy, or FDR in a taxi, at 3 am, to some of these spots back in the 90s. RIP Frankie Knuckles
Wondering in the enveloping velvet. Carpety pads. Classic house features, perc org. Looper splash. Funky drums. Terenzio aural phenomena. Cornucopia vibing. Full wood. Orchit, Roger S 1993. Couto. Hiatus. Prana juice. Colmurano. Hiatus with chaffinches. Squaring bass. Back to thrilling enthrallment. Gonio. Retriggering drums. Velvety in the meridian. Tatanka trudeau. Outro.
This has some really nice breaks and driving beats with the synth in the back amazine arrangement pure joy on this track a biatch to mix but if you do a cut loop and fade in it works just an amazing track though i remember when i would have this in my sets it was amazing to see the energy on the dance floor...
One of those timeless house classics. Masters at Work... I bow to few mortals but I would kiss their bootstraps for the many priceless musical gifts they have bestowed on us disciples of house. Muchos gracias, amigos.
I remember this being played at Webster Hall NYC along with Jaydee Plastic Dreams in the early 90s!!!! I miss those days and nights!! Long Live House!!💘 Still bumpin this in 2019!!!!!
Still as fresh as the day it was released 25 (?) years ago. Classic, timeless, the very definition of "House" music. Listening to this track gives me chills, memories, because if a piece of music does those things, then the music is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. There is lots of music out there, but it's the ones we remember years later that make it so gratifying.
I don't often leave too many comments but there are certain messages. Yes messages I don't think that tune is powerful enough of a description for what this sort of power has to deliver......... There's not many that have progressed from These days... House is an on going progression and I beleave that it will never stop but the geniuses that push the envelope now a days are becoming fewer and farther between xxxxx
