    Is that unsweetened or sweetened coconut milk? I remember having coconut shrimp at a dinner cruise in Marina Del Rey a few years ago, and while the shrimp lacked a consistent coconut flavor, the dipping sauce was fantastic. The dish you're preparing looks great, and I’m excited to experiment with that in my own kitchen. I never thought to try making this appetizer on my own before!

      @@outoftimeproductionz it’s sweetened coconut. The flavor is in the batter, the Hawaiian beer, dried coconut 🥥. Not only did I make a mango salsa, I made a crushed pineapple honey sauce for dipping. The rice came out mildly sweet as jasmine rice is already a bit sweet. It all paired very well.
