Yeah. Editing. Feel like he was just giving his brother love. He is the creator and majority owner. Brother is just probably more business savy is what he meant.
If he didn't bring him up at the beginning, the deal would have fallen apart during the due diligence phase. And once trust is broken, it's very difficult to get it back.
What’s great about this product is that you can live in a condo with space for a garden. It’s absolutely amazing!
so his brother is the CEO, but he couldn't be bothered to be standing next to him on the biggest day of the life of the business. That is a huge red flag. Naomi is going to regret this.
Not to mention the idea has been done

He was at 55% so he could stay above 50% if they all diluted and not just him down to 35% to cover Naomi’s 20%... considering he’s not only the creator of the product but he’s also the only one who could be bothered to show up and try to get a real lifeline, that doesn’t come with 7% interest rates!!! UGH.
When Naomi's at 20% means all other shareholders dilute mate. When another fund is raised, then all shareholders and Naomi's diluted as well.
Fight Craft correct, normally yes but I was referring to a different rate of dilution between different shareholders. Although unfair on paper, it’s actually fair considering who’s put the work in and that’s why I specifically said “MAKE the other shareholders dilute” because it’s not a given - it’s something he would have to negotiate... coming full circle back to my original comment but thanks for the help anyway! 😅

I love this vegepod, good quality, and looking forward to seeing how it does over winter in Canada but wish I had gotten the medium vs the small. Plants grow so much better In this in my Toronto terrace so far.

Why are they keep doing this? I mean, they know pretty much every question they would get, and how not to answer it. This guy is crazy good, and very successful, it broke my heart when he mentioned someone with 25% of the business as CEO yet were not present. It turned out great tho, couldn't be more thrilled.

I have watched all episodes of US Shark Tank and I can tell you that the Aussie Sharks are wayyyy nicer and more humble/pleasant people. You can tell with any random episode of the Aussie version. No US shark is going to introduce themselves to you. They expect you already know them and their background! Also in the US version the sharks don't get up and congratulate an entrepreneur that gets a deal. Love the Aussie version better, no name calling or bullying (I'm looking at you Kevin and Mark).
There is a reason why the US sharks are some of the richest people in the world. They were called sharks for s reason.

I like the general idea (I grow veg myself) but it's an incredibly expensive why to grow vegetables!! Definitely for a hobby, you're definitely not going to save any money, those things are tiny. Online, it's £129 for a tray size 1m x 0.5m!
