Yes a lot plumbers used under the floor as there skips the amount of Combi boiler leftover just swept between the floor Joices in this house was ridiculous I don’t think I’ve got it all yet looking forward to seeing the finished job 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Wow your keen, finished my last bathroom last week and won't be going back till Feb aside from some little jobbing jobs. Great to see you u using the cup to drain things down, think we all do that so long as we get given one. Silicone tiles is normally a plumbers trick 😀
Another bathroom... 😀 I only use the speedfits for temp isolation if I’m on a job , if I’ve got to leave it overnight or a few days I always put compression on even if the place is empty , we all know the damage water can do... 👍
How do you go about pricing a job like that if your unsure if it needs plastering and timings? I try to stay away from bathroom because there are to many unknowns!
I fitted a brand new pushfit elbow the other day that popped off the second the mains went on. When I looked inside the rubber seal was stuffed down inside the elbow nowhere near where it should have been seated.
I’m a 26yr old newly qualified gas engineer and never done a bathroom I’ve only ever done the plumbing at college and a handful of real world plumbing I wish I did more as an apprentice tbh.

Just give it a go, you’ll never get better if you don’t start. You’ll pick up the confidence and experience over years
I would of just tiled over the existing tiles if they was solid😂
They came of way too easy some were dot and dabbed on
Thought you had it with bathrooms mate ?😅😅
I say it after every bathroom 😂😂
Whatever happened to you not doing bathroom refurbs anymore? 😂
