Just saw this on person. It was so amazing the see the light slowly fading and turning red. What Ana amazing universe we have
I always try to imagine what a lunar eclipse must look like from the side of the moon looking earthwards.
The blood red glow is the moon being lit by all the sunsets around the Earth. So if you look at the Earth you'd see a dark disk surrounded by a ring of fire.
It must be a beautiful sight & one day there'll be people there to see it. I just hope i live long enough to see their photographs!
When I was watching it, the thought of when the shadow is going across the moon. Knowing I am somewhere in the shadow looking at the moon. It was cool to think. Like you stated, I also wondered what it would be like looking at earth from the moon.

Yeah! I was thinking, how cool is it that we can see the shadow of something so big? We can never see Earth's shadow normally.
Never fails. Either it's a blood moon, Lunar Eclipse or a Solor Eclipse back in the early 80's. It will be cloudy and raining. For everyone who got to enjoy this, be very thankful. I think the last time I was able to see anything spectacular, it was Venus's Transit across the Sun. That was truly amazing

I had a perfect view last night. I live in Minnesota and was on the balcony of the 3rd floor in my apartment with binoculars. I sat out there for over an hour watching it happen.

I finally got to a total lunar eclipse this time. Other times the clouds would block the view when the eclipse reached totality.

I wanted to watch this in person so so badly but it was pouring rain and there were too many clouds.

if you only knew the meaning and the significance of this event. Oh i forgot to mention this is a spiritual thing. You would have to have spiritual insight to understand this phenomenon. God is amazing he does these things for everyone to see. How many know how many blood moons have we encountered. Also how many in here read or study their bible. In the bible a blood moon is mention how many times. Who here thinks this is just random and has no purpose. Here is a hint or clue. We're in big trouble. it's a sign and a wonder from God.
