Finally someone spoke about the steering feedback & heft of a car, it is a very important factor which most reviewers never speak & also they don’t create awareness about it all they keep talking is about the engine, but nobody thinks that all the power is waste if you don’t get steering confidence while going fast
Its is good to see a person speak about steering feedback plz always speak abt it in your videos
Thank you! ❤️ We have always considered talking about steering feedback as an important factor, as something we should make people aware about. We've been doing it for the past 5 years and will continue to do so 😀
Nice insight! And my type of guy - it is the steering feel always. I almost went with jeep compass, but was put down by the price. I went with a used bmw at that time. No regrets - but if i had money, would have gone with a 4x4 compass. Would love to see what this owner goes for next ...after 2 years 🙂
Thanks buddy! There aren't many driving enthusiasts who understand the steering feel, thanks for making us feel part of the community that understands! 😀
Which BMW did you go for? 😎
@@TractionControl needed a sedan with space so went with a 5 series a 525d F10. A bit too on the comfort side but still sporty.
@@MrRahulKumarKandula Woah! That's nice! 5 series is a great all rounder! How's it going?
@@TractionControl i anticipated a rocky ownership with the bmw. But surprisingly it is pretty reliable so far. Pretty fuel efficient for its size and quite agile, fast and quiet. No complaints at all.
Black shark🔥🔥💞
Best car for Indian roads
Great ownership review 👍👍👍, sir how was the AC effectiveness? I heard jeep AC’s aren’t very effective, could you please share some insights
We have had no issues with the AC (atleast till now) works good! 😀
Brother what about cruise control
Nice to see a steering wheel enthusiast.. what about compass D manual? Did u drive?? What about its clutch and performance compared to auto.. manual compass is worthy compared to laggy auto?
I have driven the previous gen Compass Manual. It's so much more fun to drive, even that gold ball gear stick is so good to hold. So yeah, manual compass is definitely more worthy compared to the AT.
Jeep should have sprung for a better AT or a dual clutch, considering it's not a cheap car at all.
Steering is from ZF Poland
Just curious, wasn't Seltos (Facelift GT Line) in your consideration, given the power, steering feedback and all the bells and whistles provided by Kia? Thanks
Seltos has a very poor steering feedback when compared to Compass. As a standalone car it's a good car, power is fine (it's not a power house of BHPs and neither is the Compass) Kia/Hyundai cars are almost always feature focused.
What goes against the Kia -
1. Steering feedback not that great
2. Lots of body roll (although improved over previous generation)
3. Average in the handling and dynamics department
What goes For Kia -
1. Loads of bells and whistles
2. More reliable than Jeep and easier parts availability
Someone who loves having 100,000 "smart features" which they will probably never ever use would prefer the Kia, I have many friends who would😁
This version is 60k more than limited (O) variant ,and the difference is only the black color . Can you let me know if there is any other difference. Because these black elements you get in night eagle variant itself,so why the extra 60k.
Brother as far as I know (I'm not the owner) the Night Eagle variant is only available in Petrol. That might be the reason for the price difference.
Bro please share driving experience of skoda slavia 1.0 tsi automatic in city
Hi bro, you can check out some of the shorts I have posted on Skoda Slavia 1.0 TSI. Unfortunately I don't have a full video for the slavia, but have one for the Rapid 1.0 TSI if you'd like to take a look - ua-cam.com/video/AGVezMlRU0c/v-deo.html
Hi, hows the 9 speed Transmission in Comparison to other 2.0L+ Diesel Automatics (CRYSTA, XUV etc)
And whats ur call on 2024 Base Model with MT. Is it worth buying @ 26 Lacs ?
Im looking for a Self Drive purpose n will surely clock 15K+ per year with 5K of it in Highway
Hello brother, it's good but not great. Coming from a Rapid DSG, and the owner coming from a Superb DSG, did not enjoy the 9 speed of the Compass, but that doesn't mean it's a slouch, hence it's "good" like a 7 out of 10.
Innova's auto is slower.
XUV's auto is better (I personally felt that the shifts are quicker than in Compass)
At 26L it's worth buying only if the following two things are your topmost priorities in a car
1. It should be an SUV
2. You have a love for driving (good handling cars with good driving dynamics)
I would personally suggest you to go for the Taigun 1.5 (even over Kushaq) which will cost you around 22. It will offer more value for money and definitely more performance.
With that sort of running I'd definitely get the compass.
Colour name?
make ownership review of virtus GT
All I need is to find an owner.
@@TractionControl okay
Is the meridian similar?
Although we haven't driven the Meridian, but considering it uses the same powertrain and a similar monocoque chassis, the drive should be good but not at par to Compass. It would be somewhat worse because of the added weight and length. Chucking it into corners won't be as fun and you'll definitely feel that 172 bhp from the same 2.0 Fiat diesel as Compass to be less enthusiastic.
Do this varient get alpine speakers??
I believe those are available in the top end variant only.
Can I own this car exactly as it is in Kenya? I saw those in USA have steering wheel on the left and it seems like India and Kenya have steering on the right. This is actually my dream car and I'm wondering if I can own it. Someone explain to me like a small child.😑
India, UK, Kenya have right hand drive, hence steering is on the right. US does everything opposite to the world, hence left hand drive😂
So, yes you can own it in RHD (right hand drive) if you have the same in your country, or are you asking about getting it imported?
@@TractionControl yes, I wanted to know if one can import it to Kenya. Exactly as it is.
You will have to check with the appropriate authorities in your country. Everything is possible! Import duties would increase your cost of ownership though.
@@TractionControl Thanks
I think tiguan tdi would be a better pick, that car was everything but always 2 points ahead of jeep compass
Yes definitely but it's a LOT more expensive brother, It starts at 40 Lakhs on road.
@@TractionControl i am 2018 version
Only for driving dynamics you need to pay 30L for Jeep
+ Tank like Build Quality + A reliable Fiat Engine
32L is a very good price In Bengaluru its 37L 5L difference uh seriously???
That's a lot of price difference! One can buy a Compass and an Spresso over here 🤣
