The go-pro is doing a great job and making you hands free! You guys are really awesome! I just want to personally say thank you for helping all of my UA-cam friends whenever they need help-I SEE you and thank you!!
Idknow how 51 minutes flew past! Vm much enjoyed joining Ang on her morning routine, your harvest, excellent water filter demo, demo of your new whirly gig drying lines, builds, bebbeh ducklings, everything 😍. 🤗
Wow you guys really work hard. Great to see your morning feed regime the ducklings are sooo cute. Lovely to see the beautiful Max. The "baby" piglets are growing so fast. The whole thing just looks so worth while. Easy to see that you love your charges lol. The Water Mine is looking cool. Happy days
As always a fantastic video! I love the new clothes hanger thingy! Nicks water well build and proof that the water there is drinkable, even before show casing the sponsors filtration device is wonderful news you two! So happy to see rain there! Have a glorious week, and see ya in the next one!
Blossom end rot is a lack of calcium in the ground. I personally use calcium tablets that I stick direct into the planting hole. One tablet per plant. You can also use, of all things, a piece of sheet rock( plaster board) because all it is is gypsum. Which is a form of calcium. Thanks for the great video!
I always enjoy watching your videos. You two work so well together! I loved watching your routine! You certainly have a lot of land and animals to feed! They are well taken care of! Those little ducklings were so cute! Thanks for sharing with us! ❤️🙏🏼🥰😎🫶🏼🇨🇦
I really love your water grotto! In the Ancient Greece a water source of spring would be a sacred place and there would be water nymphs. Perhaps you could paint the water bowl blue and make a feature of the roof with windows to let the light in. A kind of light house in reverse. Obviously it’s got my imagination going!
The piglets weren't listening when they were standing in the trough and you said "That's not what you are meant to be doing, guys" - obviously you have to say it in Portuguese. I really do like your water mine - quite an impressive enhancement of an 'ordinary' structure; so much more clean and efficient capture of nature's resources! Mind you, 2 tonnes/2000 litres of water in one night is very impressive in your lbc's. Perhaps you need 10 lbc's at each capture point? Teasing - I really don't mean that - the pond will be the recipient of all the water from your rooves ...
Hi Ange and Nick, we love watching your videos but always feel really sad for Max when we see him. He's left on his own and gets very little attention. As a dog he's a pack animal and either needs to have time with you and Ange as his " pack' or have another dog for company. He really seems sad and in need of a bit of a companion. He's such a lovely dog. Xxx
@@cftageingwell yeah, there's a lot more to max than you see, please see some of our previous videos, or would you like us to do an animal explainer video? Maybe a good idea to bring everyone up to date
Thanks for sharing another video. As usual it is with undiluted pleasure that i watch another installment of ur day to day homestead life there in Portugal. You really have a lot of peojects going on concurrently, from paving to digging and makingbur pond, ur rain water catchment into the tanks, etc etc etc. A never ending list of things to do, maintain, improve and make. You live a very active but wholesome life. My continued good wishes to both of u.
Thoroughly enjoyed todays vlog. Thanks for letting us share part of your life on your homestead. My mouth was watering with all the butternut squash, I love it. ATB to you both. Take care and stay safe.
Hello from Alabama, USA.. Enjoy all your videos, hope your rain helps with all the fires we had hurricane come thru last nite in FL. I have a friend there I spoke with this am, she had 4 feet of water in her house. All the furniture was floating, total loss. Another one coming next weekend. Makes you look forward to winter. Take care.
Hello,my name is Rosana, I’m looking nearly all your videos. Like all things I see. Just wonderful living, good harvest. Wish to know how long take that filter work?. Love to see more videos. And hopefully can be friends in future, because I’m planning to retire in Castelo Branco. Thank you very much.
these are quite some chores with the animals, plus you have to get the food and chop the veggies. Interesting to see that daily routine Andrea. I have never tried butternut squashes and have no clue how to prepare them. Obviously they can be stored for quite some time?
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys 🙏💞 wonderful to see the animals 😊 lots of butter nuts for the whole year 😀 good work 👍😁 your water filter by the pomp is green 💚 max is happy to be of service and getting jammies 🐕
nice video but not keen on the body camera made me feel dizzy, maybe a head gear camera mount with stabilizer would be better view when you need to be hands free
happy weekend Gods blessings over you, Mark 4:39 King James Version 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
satee buttersquash, potatoes, carrots, onion with a little bit of oil, curcuma, salt, pepper. Add watter. Boil and blend everything together. Really good and healthy.
Cut into 3/4 inch pieces, fry in a little olive oil, with a brown onion, when softening add a table spoon of Madras curry powder, the yellowy stuff that's not that hot, serve as a side dish with pork chops, gammon etc, absolutely gorgeous. And don't forget everyone has different tastes😁 be kind
Love your videos usually but this week I couldn't watch most of it, because the movement in the body cam just sent me off balance, I understand it freeing up your hands for work, but it makes me so dizzy sorry 😞
Depends on use, they should last up to 600-800 gallons for the RO And 300-400 for the hybrid. They will last longer of the water being filtered is cleaner

Andrea, you're so good with the animals. Love seeing new little ones! Another awesome video.
Chest cam is so much better than watching the stuggle of doing a two handed job with one hand holding a camera

We love to eat squash too. And, the IBC totes are a great source for us to store water for irrigation and livestock. Thank for sharing. BIG Like !

Sorry to hear that
Absolutely loved your video, thanks Nick & Andrea ❤❤❤❤
Called a rotary clothes line.
I just watched a video on growing zucchini vertically to take up less space
That camera works great on your waist! Good video! Well done
Hi, Andrea and Nick. What are you going to do with all of that squash?
Mostly pig food
Was beginning to think that rock you kept shoveling near the end of the video was magnetized to your shovel.
😔
❤😁

From first set up it takes 10 minutes, after that it's almost instant
Do you know how to clean and ibc?
Just with dishwasher blocks.
In a small amount of water just stirring it and clean!! No algae anymore

They will keep as they are up to 6 months, most will be for the pigs

Awesome vid, guys! The farm looks wonderful. That water purifier is very cool, but how would the results compare to lab testing? 🙂👍👍🇨🇦
It's a clothes line! 🤔 people
Is there a reason you don't use larege capacity poly rainwater tanks?
Can't afford them

Anyone heard anything from Dan and Laura 🤔. Just a bit worried as not heard from them in ages 🤷♀️😩😘
l think they are in the uk at the moment
Also Alex and Molly @ Quinta Fonta De Pippa?

Hope you don't want that wheely bin emptying I don't think South hams council will collect from you.
They rarely collected from Lee Mill
Did you test the well water aswell?
Yes
What are butternut squash good for, apart from pig feed
😂, not a fan either
You can make soup you can put it in your veggie mix for evening food I like it a lot 😉😁
@@arjanvogel6444 have tried the soup, nothing to compare it to, apart from the liquid leftover from washing the dishes 😕
