@Deltia's Gaming I just wanted to say, the only reason the "slottables" are "slottables", is not because they are any more powerful than the other passive stars, it has nothing to do with that. It's only a slottable because it causes a hit on the server and they want to minimize server ticks. So any CP star that causes a server tick became a slottable to maximize those types of stars to 4. If the cp star doesnt cause a server tick then it becomes a passive.
As a result, you don't necessarily need to max out your CP slottable stars at the beginning. There will also be very strong passives that are better than a slottable that you should choose instead if you have low cp. But of course, if you have tons of CP why not max out everything including your slots.
Each star should be evaluated based its own merits, not necessarily on wether it is a slottable or not.
I just wanted to make sure you didn't think the slottable stars were somehow intrinsically better just because it's a slottable.

I will say the raw Stat boosts make builds interesting all by themselves. my stam sorc dps has 23k health, close to 8k weapon damage fully buffed, and 32k stamina

I messed with it on the PTS side prior to live launch and saw many opportunities for various set ups based on playstyle, class, roll, and content, and not just a one build fits all based on role. That being said, your explination here gives more ground for a Roll based set up like we had before, thanks

Up until yesterday I didn't know you had to slot some passives... I was just putting points whereever I thought it would be helpful... no wonder people destroyed me in cp pvp... so I guess this guide helps clear that up for all those who are as dumb as me :D

You have 17 characters??! Hell I've been sinking all my time in one character to get it to CP and it took more than a month or so.
Now... couple of side questions.
Have you got a simple vlog on using (not making) Food, Drink and Potions. Because I found I eat something, and if I need a top up during battle I have something else and it wipes the food from being active. Can you use food and drink together or can you just use one. and can you stack food or drink and use a couple potions or something?
And since ranking up is p/character (and so if riding speed etc) HTF do you get the time to make more than one character?
(I have taken someone's suggestion and made sure my first character becomes a master at Provisioning etc).
I do not have a recent food/drink/potion guide. I can add that to the list. I bought a ton of crown damn speed boost.

Just for confirmation. As long as you can get to a passive, they are active all the time without any other requirement from a tree right?
With limited cp, say 600 or so, would you recommend spreading out cp or max out stars? Also, nice to have you back, missed being able to turn on a video, lay back and just listen to your thoughts and from time to time learrn a few new things. Also if you dont mind me asking, what do you enjoy most in eso currently and what can we expect to see from you in the future?
I have around 600. I'm a DPS so I focused on Max Resource, whether it be Stamina or Magick for you, and then both Passive and Slottable added damage + the added Penetration.
So I'd say focus on the most important ones first
1) I'd spread-out most likely and grab the important slottables. 2) I enjoy pvp/pve just anything I can do solo or small group. Future is builds/guides 100%. It's what I love and what I'm good at. Just getting characters/gear all caught up then I'll bang them out.

Why am I not noticing a difference with the slottables? For example, increasing your recovery from the red slottable: It does not show on my stat sheet.
That's odd, just make sure it's slotted and you accept changes.
@@Deltiasgaming Yeah that was weird. I just had to relog and it worked.
Has anyone noticed if fighting finesse is actually giving a 10% crit damage boost? It still says 0% crit damage in my advanced stats with finesse slotted. I also didnt notice a dps difference on my parse with or without.

There's an addon called Dynamic CP, doing addon video soon.
This helps a lot. For us on console, it takes longer to navigate anything.
Do you plan to join us on console some time? I still remember being part of one of your last streams on ps4 na.
alright, I got a pretty good build down for pve solo werewolf
I added one slottable for each tree however I cannot get any more slots do I have to be a Max Champion point to get all 4 slots
The crafting champ slottables and passive are so good for farmers and achievement hunters who want to also enjoy the game and are impatient. However i do think crafting shouldnt have slottables because it has no play on pve or pvp. Do you think in time they may make a quick slot system to manage the slottables in groups the way people will want for their builds and what they are doing?
Never really thought about those ones since that's not my focus. Great points thanks Justin.

Bruh my game has crashed 5 times today already, and all I've been doing is redoing my skills and CP, every time it's crashed it's been as I come out of the CP menu
Consoles? Yeah I had a crash respecing attributes because it was so busy.

Well the game still plays exactly as it was before. Shitty servers, dude teleporting all over the place and not seeing any of the attacks that kill me instantly.
It's all this extra stuff long time players get that makes me not even want to start this game...
Focusing on getting the easy slottables first, even if they dont actually do *anything* at all for your playstyle is not exactly great advice.
Many people are going to have no use for the 2 green slottables that focus on sneaking and bounties. A Mag DPS isnt going to need the Stamina slottable, and vice versa.
Use case is more important than just having 4 slottables as fast as possible.

Personal opinion , I don't like what they created , I feel that for 2 years that they been creating this new cp system , I feel they could of done something better , also they should of done more increment champion point upgrades so gives people time catch up .
I feel alot more squishy now than before cp 2.0 .

I been playing since vet 10. As had family and friends. Many fiends, including those met in the ESO. An entire guild, the most popular guild at time. But I was the one left. They all left the ESO. Today I did the same, will not return. Maverick UK signing off. Good luck everyone.

I have to admit this system is way too complicated
You will watch others like alvast and run the same 4 slot meta.
This always happens, 3 months down the road we will all be running same stuff. This just gives you some tools to get by until then.
@@Deltiasgaming yep the heavy armor meta is now 10 fold because I have already herd people are getting destroyed in light.
With the armor penalties zos indirectly made a heavy armor meta permint.
@@hvdhvd-zt3js No one is running 5, 6 or even 7 heavy anymore. The new meta is 4/2/1 rather than 5/1/1. Light armor isn’t terrible in pvp this patch, look at magsorcs wearing light armor destroying everything. Heavy armor is still good but it’s not the only armor being used in pvp now. This update put pvp in a much better place than it was the last couple patches
