- Prior to the heartbreaking passing of Virgil Abloh, his Off-White label collaborated with Jordan Brand and released their unique take on the Air Jordan 2 Low. Dropping in two colourways, I picked up the OG inspired "White / Red" pair, which mimics the look of an original Michael Jordan game-worn and signed pair of Jordan 2 Lows sitting in Jordan Brand's archives, crumbling midsole and all! It’s crazy. I don’t get sneaker hate. Sneaker culture taught me that 2s are on the same tier as J1 mids. This shoe just shows the power that a collab can have on a silhouette. I don’t mind copping GR mids and low 1s with fire CWs personally. That’s how much I like the J1 silhouette 😂. Keep up the good work Sean!

the box is based on the OG Jordan 2. Virgil only added the holes and clear bottom.
Always been a fan of the Jordan 2! I have the Black and Blue ones and I will say that originally I wasn’t a fan of them until I did more research into the inspiration of the colorway and the collection. Being that the Chicago OW 2 is a time capsule to the past respecting it and the Black and Blue being progression or the future and not staying locked into the past. After reading that I fell in love with them.
Story is cool but I generally can’t really pull off mostly black shoes
@@SeanGo totally get that! It’s like Joe La Puma not being able to wear white sneakers. Regardless I think both sneakers are great in their own ways I’m just glad I still have at least 1 off white sneaker in my collection.
Virgil gave us a pair of Jordans' Jordans. True OGs. I've wanted them since the 1st true leaks appeared online. I thought they would be a breeze since no one really seemed to like 2s, except Sean Collard,myself,and a few others lol. I knew things were changing when the production backstories popped out and ppl started calling out bandwagonners.Nov.12th- I ended up going through the SNKRS app 2-phone simultaneous L tension,and paid $715 on the 19th,right in between a couple $800+ sales. "Felt good" about saving that $100(I never pd over $50 retail...& that was for 2 day early cop,going bk to '89 when I bought my 1st pair of OG Bred 4s at 14 yrs old). I got besides myself for these. Now I'm left with the bittersweet feeling of being a native Chicagoan,owning art pieces designed by a Chicago Great inspired by another Chicago Great,but having them also be a reminder of Virgils' transition out of the physical. Such a tragedy for his wife and children, especially. RIP Saint Abloh 🕊️ #CHIcaGOAT

My favorite Jordan 2s are the Don Cs. These might be the ugliest sneakers of the year, no disrespect to the silhouette. W/O the C/O these would go for $34.99 at the Nike factory outlet.
Had to come back and watch this review been looking for a d.s pair of these for a decent price since they released and i finally got a pair in 2024....these r art!! Will look good beside my black/blue pair..
I'm never sure if I genuinely like the 2 or if I just gravitate towards it because I feel like it doesn't get enough love.
I can always count on you bro when it comes to what size should I get I would hate to spend that 783.00 and get the wrong size 😮💨

Not a huge fan of the signature honestly, or the 2s generally, but the midsole is so fucking cool. I LOVE the concept and execution, just wish it were on a different silhouette. Regardless, RIP to an absolute legend. Can't believe he's gone, what an incredible run. I'll never forget the impact he's made on fashion.

Happy I got my pair✨ and I am so surprised that not everyone has made a review for this shoe. It’s a love or hate shoe just like the OW Jordan 1. People hated that shoe at the beginning, just like this one. Always been a fan of AJ 2 and still have my old pairs 👌🏽

On the shoe (which comparatively doesn’t matter), they are absolutely hideous. Everyone has sat on the 2s forever & these were only big on hype-and now will be for a long time.
If you’ve truly always loved the 2s, then props to you & I hope you copped a pair for retail.
Surreal knowing Virgil is not with us anymore. He has inspired my artistic journey and he is a major loss. Rip.
Man I wanted these so much, but of course, struck out. I always loved the 2s and this would have been perfect, merging the 2s with some cool Off-White details.
Ironic how Virgil’s last sneaker with Nike he had seen release was 2s and they both got a lot of slack.

RIP to Virgil. This shoe however is not it. These are easily the worse Jordan in the 1-14 lineup. There is no disputing that fact. If it wasn’t for Tinker and the Jordan 3, Nike would have lost Jordan forever after putting out these abominations.

thank you for honoring Virgil Abloh, may he rest in power. atlas, I have mixed feeling about jordan 2 in general. But Virgil made it look cooler with Off-White's signature and the story behind it.
