I feel like all synthetic wigs are trash 🗑 compared to human hair longevity is so much shorter. Thanks for being humble enough to share this

Oh my goodness, Lisa! This looks like an Amazon wig! And actually I’ve bought Amazon wigs that look better! Lol! That’s not something you’d expect from a Raquel Welch wig. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said you don’t expect to do a re-style when you’ve paid $200 for a wig. The back is really cute, but you can’t face the world backwards! Thank you for your honesty. You are still so stinkin’ cute and bless your heart, you tried to work with that thing! Great interview!

In all the other reviews they look like "duds" too! I'm so glad you were honest. I feel that any company that passes these off as ok is doing a disservice to the customer since they look nothing like how they were portrayed in the stock photo. I'm proud of you for standing up for this as this shows you and your company put the customers first and not their bottom line.

😂 Your honesty and candor is so refreshing ! I’ve bought some wigs that were pretty expensive and yet looked hideous… I must say that I am very surprised that Raquel Welch would even have their brand attached/associated to/with that wig!!! It looks like roadkill that they attached to a wig cap! 😂

Yes, I hate buying a brand new wig and then having to “redo” it and I love restyling wigs! This wig so much reminds me of “Serving Style” by Gabor that I won. I finally got her wearable by using a steamer! You’re right the water won’t hold it in place. She is now re-homed with my aunt who is in her 70’s and it looks acceptable on her. The stock pics are very misleading. I love your being so candid and honest. Thank you Lisa and Pinkie Promise!

I really appreciate your honesty and you seem very relatable and down to earth! I’ve watched so many of your videos over the past 2 years. I have stress induced alopecia after losing my 7 year old daughter in a bad car accident in 2018. On top of grieving I just stopped caring about my appearance and fell into a deep depression. Once finding wigs my confidence slowly returned, and I started to feel so much better about myself. Depression is the worst and the last thing I wanted to do is get up, put on makeup and have to try and make my ever shedding hair look presentable. I didn’t even feel like brushing my hair. My first wig was Hollywood I got in clearance, and that’s all she wrote. I felt better about myself and I could just plop it on my head and look like I spent a lot of time on my hair. As a woman I think it’s fair to say that our hair plays an enormous part of how we feel and our confidence. Just making that one change in wearing wigs, I started to care about other aspects. I started wearing makeup again and going out in public more. Just seeing my hair look so beautiful it made me want to take care of myself more and I’ve started to get the old me back and I couldn’t be more happy. I miss my baby every day but I know she would want her mommy to keep on smiling and moving forward. And last but not least I just wanted to say that when I first saw this wig on my first thought was David Bowie touching an electric fence while raining out!😂😂 I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day, and always tell your loved once how much they mean to you every chance you get!! 😍XoXo

Kudos for trying this with a headband! You just don’t give up. I love you for that. I bought a similar pixie one from a different manufactured and even a drama department at my son’s school wasn’t impressed. Bought it on clearance and had to toss it. 😂😂😂 I agree with someone, who said it looks like roadkill.

😲😲😵..SHOCK and AWE-FUL, Oh Lisa, I felt so bad for you, BUT...I laughed SO HARD and LOUD, I HAD to press pause, the cat flew off my lap, my daughter ran down the stairs to see what was so funny, and when she looked at the tv..."WOAH" was all that came out of her mouth...all while Im literally crying cuz I laughed so hard...then she said to me "poor Lisa" and walked away, which in turn made me laugh even harder....We were NOT laughing at you...just the hot mess on your pretty little head!! Since hubby passed 8 months ago, I havent had a good "belly laugh", so just know that it was worth it for you to go through the pain of that review...thank you for all that you do for us wig sisters (and brothers!!)...you are amazing girl😘😘

I agree! When I receive a new wig I do not want to have to style it beyond finger styling or a little hot air brush use. I have received one wig that is going back for styling.

The Crazy Wig Lady loves spikes. She calls them “fun.” Maybe you should donate this wig to her. I’m with you though. This is unstylable hair and I have enough of that on my head already. Thanks for this great review!

I totally lost confidence in others who recommended this wig! I’m sure there is someone out there who will like it.
I don’t want anyone to take this review as a slam against any other reviewer. The wigs that they received were most likely in better shape than this one and they were in different colors, so they may have had better cap coverage, etc.

What were RW thinking? You certainly don't expect this from this brand. Some reviewers I feel are offended when you point out something negative about a wig but I feel it could be helpful if the manufacturers read it and then make improvements after all we want our wigs to look and feel as natural as possible 💖
Yes this is definitely not the norm for RW. I agree that having an open discussion in comments should be taken as constructive criticism, kind of like a focus group! As long as comments are honest and reasonable, I’m happy to allow them!❤️❤️

We see return issues as a possibility so that influenced the decision not to list this one❤️

I am new to wigs, and have watched a zillion videos but never worn one yet, so my opinion is worth very little. that said, this wig looks fun and I think maybe it just needs the right person and more time with styling. It's a spunky, more hip short style than many of the shorter wigs I've seen and it looks like maybe that was what they were trying for. Also an actor, I think this one has a lot of potential for comedy :) ha ha.
Definitely has comic potential!😂 Yes my problem with it is that most people buy synthetics expecting them to be fairly ready to wear and this one definitely isn’t!😂

Yea I think this particular wig with its spikes and then done in a grey that almost looks like bleached platinum ash blond kind of seems like it wants to give a post punk 80s look mixed in with a cosplay Halloween walmart wig lol. I think the only thing i would add to what you did with it would be to spray some Ebin or Swartkopfh Got2be spray in your temples and sides and then hold those fibers up against your side temple areas all the way down to the front of your ears until it dries and just leave the underneath fibers plastered to those areas all day lol. But we gotta give you a hand for taking that and doing what ya did.

I was doing a search for the Iced Granita color and came across this video of yours for RW's "Candid Capture." As a wig wearer for twenty years, IMHO, this looks like a Halloween wig aka fright wig, that one buys at the Spirit Halloween or Party City stores. I will take it further and say it is the most hideous, supposedly, "mainstream" wig I have ever seen. It is a two thumbs waaay down wig. Thank you for keeping a straight face through your stoic review.

It certainly does not look like the stock picture. The wig reminds me of chef Anne Burrell. I would not want to have to take so much time to style it. The great things about wigs is that you can have perfect hair with minimum effort.

I love your honesty…. But, I think it is the color thats not fitting you not so much the style, just my opinion. My style is on the edgy side and I will wear that wig on certain occassions. In fact, I will not attempt to “tame” it, in fact I will make it “spikier” so to speak. Great review though.

No I get that but some people don’t want to have to restyle a brand new wig. I know I could have fixed it, but I wanted my viewers to know this one would require some work
This may look good on an older woman but like you mentioned it will need some styling. That wig doesn’t suit you at all! It’s not fun buying a wig that requires so much work when we all have so little time. Not to mention the cost of wigs which do not last long.

There are some wigs where that 10% tolerance simply will not work, then combine it with box hair? Hooboy. Mono top for this baby. It's a bummer, because I like the longer pieces in front of the ears, and how the texture in the back is more piecey, and less flippy. When my mum was an infant, her hair stuck up like that on top.
