Phase 2 is out and with it, the new Gnomeregan Raid. While the idea of this instance is intimidating there are very few actual dangers that we as Rogues really have to look out for. This video might not have dps tips and tricks but it is a very simple and straightforward guide to highlighting easy things to pay attention to during the fights so that you don't die and look like a noob.
Once you've been in there once you'll already be used to it and be embarrassed you were ever nervous about it in the first place. Season of Discovery has been great for Rogues and with our new Belt Rune, Shadowstep, we're actually able to just completely negate a lot of these movement mechanics without much or any downside. This guide is all you need to start diving deep into the vast hallways of the fallen gnome capital and learning everything there is to know.

Chose to main my rogue for this phase. Even though im 6/6 with a gutripper it is near impossible to get a spot in a pug RN. Feelsbadman.

great guide. I just stuck on the first step "actually get into the raid")) I have not bad gear (400 gs) and all cons needed, but it seems nearly impossible to find a spot as a rogue

What addon/WA are you using for the combo points/energy?
I think deep combat will be still really good the crit on mutilate and hit and crit on daggers and expertise and off hand dmg surely makes up for poison damage but I could be wrong just hit 40 playing deep combat it seems to pull loads of dps
Thanks for the guide! Could you confirm/have you tested that opportunity applies to mutilate as well? If so, does it only applies from behind or from any direction? It's hard to get a good answer for that online sadly...

What addon do you use to see boss and enemy health?
It's a weak aura you can find in the general thread in weakaura channel in my discord I think it's just called mob health
poisen on weapons are usefull or druid wf are still the best choice?
Need to use deadly brew rune. So no poisons applied to daggers
Use sharpening stone on off hand
If you have a druid/shaman you only put a weapon enchantment on your offhand. You should use shadow oil if you want to pump, or sharpening stones if you want to be cheaper
Last boss is a pretty easy fight as long as you have competent range to stop bomb drops. First pug I did was awful because our range were literally brain dead

ive killed this guy a few times as a level 33/34 rogue when he was 40 - LOL
Yeah I mean, being good in pve doesnt mean you can play the game hh its mostly about knowledge and game time
I've definitely died more than a few times to groups of low levels while trying to grind a little gold in full pve spec. Glad it made someone so happy.
