As you mentioned PR, the talent for all 5 is off the charts. They have become one of my favorite bands of all time over the last few years, and I'm hoping for a World Tour with a US concert. They SHOULD get another invite to Wacken this year, and hopefully some touring afterwards. Maybe this time Dragon Force can open for Them 🙂. And yes Midori, the blond guitarist is just as Ripped as she looks. Besides being one of the best Shredders on the face of the planet - she is also a competitive body builder.

First they found Midori ( the blonde guitarist) then the other guitarist Miyako and after that together they found Asami the vocalist. Now they choose the new bassist Fami, she is only 20 years old but is amazing talent ( by the way she got own chanel with over 600k subscribers) you can check out what she doing there. It's my opinion the band is still Lovebites but on another level, and because of Fami she bring something new to the band and i think they get better. I think the upcoming album is going to be their best.
What an absolutely perfect fit Fami is with Lovebites. I love Miho on the bass. She is fantastic. But Fami is at a whole different level. Those bass lines in the chorus are outrageous. And what a great song to return with. I have a feeling this new album is going to punch us very hard in the face!!!

Growing up my best friend and I weren't the best, but we were on the same page regarding what we wanted and we had amazing musical chemistry, but then his family moves across the state. My other musician friends from high school through college like playing metal, but we all like different subgenres and different bands, and have wildly different musical goals and skill levels. The one person I've met who has the skill, has the drive, and is still local plays in a rockabilly band and has little interest in modern rock or metal. He's gotten me a number of gigs, one even playing in a backing band for Little Richard for a music festival a long time ago, but we'll never do something original together. I'm happy for anyone that finds musicians of like mind and like skill. Moreover, keep in mind that LOVEBITES evolved out of failed bands and, in Asami's case, a stagnant solo career. Even Fami said she hadn't uploaded to UA-cam in months because she was wondering where her music career was going. Fortunately for her and for us LOVEBITES announced auditions. BAND-MAID was put together because Miku's previous idol group failed and the other ladies weren't going anywhere with their music careers. Nemophila is a group of five ladies, at least four of which (not sure about Tamu) have failed groups in their wake. Failure is almost always what you make of it.

How they found? First, the drummer and former bassist where on same band, DESTROSE. On 2015, the band, disbanded.. and they both decided to create a new one "more trash and western style" because always wanted "to play a combination of power metal and a little bit of old school heavy metal" on 2016 They search first for guitarist and after recruiting guitarist Midori, they select as support guitarist and keyboardist Miyako. The four chose vocalist Asami based on a demo she made. First EP and first LP in 2017. Second EP, "Best novel metal band" and second LP in 2018 Third LP in 2020 Third EP in 2021 and, after bassist departure, the announce that the band go on hiatus and maternity leave (Singer Asami and guitarist Miyako) After half a year of auditions for a new bass player. (they start in april ) the new bassist was announced two months ago. And now, finally, in 2023, the long awaited fourth LP with the new band formation.
Lovebites actually do have slower and more groovy songs that they would play to give the audience a break during their concerts. But the fast and crazy ones tend to get more attention, unsurprisingly. And they seem to have upped their game once again for the new album. Even more technical playing and singer Asami sounds better than ever before. Eternity's End are a contemporary band (a supergroup, really) that remind me of Lovebites. They also play highly technical power/speed metal and they are from Germany, funnily-enough. Their album from last year titled Embers of War is fantastic.
Finally after 2 years your back to Lovebites! Good reaction. They have more than 50 original songs and just 2 covers, Judas Priest "Painkiller" and Helloween's "Eagle fly Free". Try "swan Song" with the Chopin intro. Enjoy!

@@DavidGatson Fami has yet to go on tour with them keeping that pace on a studio album is one thing but the concerts and tours is a whole lot more strenuous than doing studio covers as she had been doing before lovebites I am sure she will be fine but that's why I said it will be interesting to see
She will be just fine, I understand the concern tho, fingerstyle at that speed for that long is not for everyone, luckily, Fami can do more than fingerstyle, she will give her fingers a rest by sprinkling in some slap and tap.
She is young. She will be on adrenaline. Fami practices all day long. The band will be doing many rehearsals before the shows. She can easily kick ass for 2 hours. No problem.
