I think Alec Burks is an expiring contract, and a guy that got no playing time ever (probably in part because Thibs plays his players 48 minutes per game)
but Alec Burks when he got his chance to play, actually looked really good in that last game, and was really efficient

True knicks fans will look at this loss as a bittersweet sendoff to an amazing year. They gave it their all and brought a lot of amazing close games this post season.
We haven't seen a Knicks team with this much fight in them since, I'd say, the mid-90s. I'll take it.

I'm sure he needed 0xygen!😉... But kudos to what was left of those Knicks, who did their best against the best offense in the league. Initially, I didn't give the Knicks much of a chance to even get out of the 1st round w/o Julius Randle their All-Star... and I expected the Pacers to take them in 6(maybe 5) without Bogdonavic', Robinson & *Randle -- I actually felt the biggest lost would be OGA, who really only played 2 games of the series.
S.A.S. had to have known that once OG left 4 & 1/2 mins. into the 1st qtr(never to return) that this game was a rap, even if Brunson didn't break his hand in the 3rd qtr(never to return). I think that if the Pacers play like this against the KP-less Celtics, they can beat them!... But then again, while fully healthy, they struggled against a Knicks team that had 3 of their starters out, a gassed 5 -- 6 man rotation and Brunson out the entire 2nd half of game 5, J. Hart out the 2nd half of game 6 and yet, were still pushed to 7 games🤔

However, he has done that all year and it’s not like the Pacers had a bunch of nationally televised games, the NBA could have quietly cracked down on it if they considered that a travel so Haliburton could adjust. If they start randomly calling it a travel the third round of the playoffs, it would be unfair.

“Injuries” is their GO TO excuse as if teams aren’t down a Man or two Starting or Bench. They never mention those “injuries” when they WIN - but use it to whine about it when they LOSE. 🤣

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Outside of Brunson he was our best player. Hustle player, great rebounder, good defense, played through injuries. One of our only guys who can take it to the rim. We don’t win any of those games without him.

Brunson is just a diluted Luka. He a ball hog who scores a lot of points. But he's smaller than Luka and can't assist his team like Luka. Time will show that him moving to NYK was a mistake and he should have stayed as the second option to Luka.
