If you are punching in, its so tough to drag each little bar or whatever into track three to get the effects... My FL always puts recordings onto 100 by deafualt so I use that for effects and you can punch in a lot quicker.
Yo you can detect the tempo inside or fl In the audio file of the beat up by the title there is a squiggly line lookin thing to the left of it and click on that and find detect tempo in the right Side
