I am just now getting back into Dragonball since GT and I have studied up Xenoverse this helps alot because now I will enjoy playing it for the first time, i will then upgrade to Xenoverse 2 after this, I tried it and I am good with any Shenron or any forms of Cooler
Erm, not to be that guy, but I believe you've said some wrong information. Items arent shared three ways if you have two others in a PQ with you. A good example, when I was grinding the Bardock armor on PQ 53, great ape Bardock has a chance at dropping one of Bardocks armor pieces, sometimes my friend would get a piece, sometimes I got a piece or sometimes we both got a piece. That doesnt mean Bardock dropped two items, that means we both got lucky on our indevidual RNG's. I apologise if I seemed unclear in this comment, and if you think im wrong, please correct me. Saiyan Kakashi not anymore a good counter or evasion move makes that move worthless like the s vanishing ball its useless if a person knows how to actually play.
I remember when I was lvl 16 and doing PQ 9 or 10 I was doing a quest which was kill all the frizea minions I got the super finish thing so I had to fight the ginyu force and when I beat Burter it said skill dropped so I finished the quest and found out it was motherfucking blue hurricane and I was ecstatic.
Me too. Only I actually kinda wanted it because big DBX UA-camrs used it, and I thought it was ass once I tried it. Then I learned how to use it. Then I beat the game.
Tested and confirmed with my friend online: It doesn't matter AT ALL who gets the killing blow. We were going for Majin Kamahameha, I got the killing blow on Kid Buu with an Ultimate and my friend got the skill, not me. This has happened numerous times with numerous skills/z-souls/equipment, both me getting the kill and him getting the drop, and vice-versa. It does. Not. Matter.

I'm in the process of 100%ing the game. Which mind you given the drop system is a very slow process. I'm about halfway through PQs. I'm focusing on moves first and then i'll go back for costumes and Z souls. I do like games where i can sort of grind though. It is a good way to listen to youtube and play reflexively. You learn the controls that way and get it down to instinct, especially when learning Control Set C which is difficult to get used to.
You are so far in the game and I can't even get past the level you play as Ginyu in Freeza's ship. Since the moveset is fixed, getting powerful moves wont help, you can heal Krillin and Gohan and I think the level of your character doesn't change anything either.
***** Don't worry dude, that's literally the toughest story mission in the game. The *only* other one that comes close is fighting Frieza's henchmen with Bardock. Once you've gotten past the one you're on, you're good to go!
For those of you wondering how to get the Wolf Fang Fist, Tri-Beam or Spirit Ball, Thundershot forgot to mention the part where you need to fork over $20 to get them.
Unlocking items and supers, are a lot like the master training guages in the play data screen. The better you do on missions, the greater your chances to unlock things. Example; there were items from earlier missions, 1 star/2 star missions that I never bothered to unlock everything. Now at level 90, I go back and play them, and everything drops, within the 1st and 2nd try. Try it out
I've noticed, for all the depth and customization we can use in character creation, I see A LOT of people in the lobby who look like pallette swapped Adult Gohan. That, or people with that short forward spiked hair with the 4-star outfit. I'm thinking about making it a drinking game.

This is just a theory, but on Quest 44 in order to get Strike of Revelation i had to basic attack Whis instead of killing him with a Ultimate Attack, and on Quest 24 I had to basic attack Trunks instead of killing him with an Ultimate Attack in order to get Shining Slash. So maybe you have to kill someone with a basic attack so get some Skills. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but it worked both times on the first try.
It kills me how people don't try to help themselves. I understand if a person is lost or confused on the mechanics...but if you literally go into the menus of the levels...it tells you which powers you can unlock. A more accurate question would be "how to affect your ranking in PQs...or how exactly to unlock specific conditions" These gamers now need their little hands held.
It's really easy to get all Z souls, items/equipment, and skills without having to do it over and over and over again then get lucky. All you have to do is get to level 80 (not even that hard) then u can qualify for elder Kai training (don't even have to finish it) then sometimes when u talk to him he will do something to increase your luck in PQ (can't remember what but he sits down and says your luck is good or something afterward). If u get to the final training and don't feel like getting to level 93 then just make a new character and go PQ'n on that new character.

you should make a video on getting super dragon flight cuz I've watched lots of videos on how to get the move and on every video no one was able to get the movie but they said thats how you do it super dragonfly is probably the hardest mood to get dropped
Not sure if it helps but maybe wearing character specific clothes and having a character specific zsoul could increase the master gauge. They do make comments on your appearance depending on clothes you wear.
HOW TO HAVE OP ULTIMATE : easy way: get the 1 dlc pack then do pq small but strong. try get the super spirit bomb. then get z soul Citizens of the universe lend me you're energy. you'll be invincible while using plus giving it extra power. add ginyu force pose g then *WHAM*. op spirit bomb. hard way: get trained by beerus and unlock sphere of destruction. then get z soul here comes payback. it increases sphere's power add that with ginyu pose g you can screw quite a lot of people

It feels like the same RNG advice that gets thrown around time and time again is...limited. Some PQs are picky about how fast you clear them, require you let a certain NPC say a certain line etc. I think there are a lot of hidden conditions we're never told about.

Levelling character and souls still work on ginyu. Just grind for a bit. You can win

blue hurricane is the key for lvl up to max as fast as possible it is really useful
I thought another way to get a move was to put the character who has the move on your team. Ex: Vegito=Spirit Sword and Trunks=Heat Dome Attack

The difficulty and frustration from trying to unlock shit in this game really takes away the fun factor.
so far I grinded for dragon balls twice made two wishes to shenron and got the chasm crystal story done.
