I first encountered the world of Cardiacs (and it is a world, if not a universe) when I was a kid. I’m 50 years old now and Tim’s music is still lighting up my life. Your reaction was wonderful. Thank you.
Cardiacs: Pull the marrow out through your bones sadness - Squeeze your soul sadness. The vastness of reality, the entire universe elbowing its way into your eyes. Leibnitz monadology inside and outside of you. As one.
:D It took me quite some time to properly get into Cardiacs, but you've right away got a direct connection straight to that part of Heaven. Very enjoyable to watch you enjoy it. You might enjoy the covers by the Belgian *mr Brown* (I've heard he's not the only one going by that name, hence the location given) of Cardiacs songs. He does a lovely one of *Big Ship* , for instance. ua-cam.com/video/MjV0J0C-gsQ/v-deo.html (It's on a wonky piano that got a reprieve from the tuners just for this song.)

Big Ship is definitely a huge Live experience for those that got to see them do it!
More Cardiacs please. Just fantastic and the late Dr Tim Smith was a genius.
The live version of this track from the Maresnest DVD is magnificent, it's close to a religious experience. ❤

Song is absolute fire
God bless the late Tim Smith forever and ever amen. And beyond forever, by the way.
Fiery Gun Hand and Goodbye Grace. Your next Cardiacs tunes.
