Okay, now, before I begin, right, I want to explain to you what is swing trading because some of you are wondering here Rayner, what is swing trading, alright? So let me explain to you quickly. So swing trading, the idea is to capture one swing in the market.
2:10 Swing Trading Strategy #1: Stuck In A Box
The first one is what I call stuck in a box, where the price is pretty much stuck in a range, stuck in a box, similar to what you've seen earlier. So this the core idea here is that the market is in a range, you want to buy low and sell high, so how you go about doing it is to let the price come into an area of value, an area of support, okay?
4:14 Swing Trading Strategy #2: Catch The Wave
So the other one is what I call catch the wave. So this is used when the market is in an uptrend. When the market is trending, you are trying to time your entry and capture just one swing in an uptrend.
6:18 Swing Trading Strategy #3: Fade The Move
So it's what I call fade the move. So this is a counter-trend trade. So because when the market is trending and if it has traveled quite a long, a distance towards the swings high, towards resistance, there is opportunity for you to take a counter trend trade but I'll share with you a little bit of how to manage this type of trade.

@@bbanks4351 The first thing to note is yes, making a living on day trading is a perfectly viable career, but it’s not necessarily easier or less work than a regular daytime job. The benefits are rather that you are your own boss, and can plan your work hours any way you want. Trading on a laptop also means you can do it anywhere, anytime.

Accept it or not, most day traders are addicted to a form of gambling which provides a great adrenaline rush when they short a stock with nice profits and that keeps them coming back over and over again. The difference between casino gambling and trading is that at least you have some control over the outcome by doing research and being able to enter and exit at will. Just my 2cents.
It funny though how by looking at a complete day's chart (after the day's over), analysts sound so smart pointing out the exact entry and exit points. Having done day-trading for a while now, I can tell you ain't that easy with many influence factors on a stock's price, especially suden news breaks and other events.
By the way, appreciate honest UA-camrs who share ideas without the constant up-selling.

Amazing strategies, however fade the move is a bit challenging for swing trading, as you have to watch the intra day movements and catch the right moment within short period of time. Thanks and great vid as always

@Aaron97oD There are apps you can get to see the market times, so you can check what markets are open when you are home. I find that I generally catch the cross over between New York and Sydney during the evenings, as I also work a 9-5.
@AOD IDK how it is in various countries but swing trading seems like a good deal if you don't/can't/want to spend all time in front of the screen during markets hours.
If buy if someone at the 80 and often the resistance is around 100, it might take 10 days to reach there. You can set a 'Good till executed' sell limit order and forget about it.
Whenever if reaches 100, it will get sold. Usually good till executed/date are valid for a month or 2. You should check with your broker.
And then if you know the support is around 75, place a 'Good till executed' buy limit order and let it do its job.
Such complex knowledge so simplified, mind opening, bro you are worth subscribing to!

My advice for beginners (less than 2 years of experience): Try to only capture the uptrends and stay cash on the downtrends
Shorting is extremely difficult and you could lose a big lump some of money quickly

Your videos make sense to me when looking at previous trends, but could you show me how to apply this on future movement? What tools and indicators do I use to predict the movement?
I believe indicators are one of main catalysts of many Forex trader’s frustration. As price action traders, we don’t need to rely on indicators to make our trading decisions. I only use 2 moving averages so I can perform my mean value analysis which works synergistic-ally with *IQD Momentum strategy* price action system.We can use some indicators but not to generate signals but only as confluent factors.
