BTS's Jin Discharged from Military Service After 1.5 Years: Warm Welcome from Members and Fans

Today, June 12, 2024, marks the special day of BTS's eldest member, Jin, completing his 1.5 years of mandatory military service.
Jin enlisted in the Army on December 13, 2022, faithfully serving as an assistant instructor at the boot camp.
At approximately 8:50 AM, Jin exited the guardhouse at the 5th Infantry Division's boot camp in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, to the applause of his fellow soldiers.
To celebrate Jin's discharge, fellow members RM, J-Hope, V, Jungkook, and Jimin took a break from their schedules and visited the site.
RM, in particular, played the group's hit song "Dynamite" on the saxophone to welcome Jin back.
Jin embraced his members and got into a car amidst the cheers of fans.
In an interview with reporters after his discharge, Jin expressed, "Military life was tough, but I was able to learn and grow a lot."
He also pledged to further dedicate himself to music activities as a member of BTS.
