I think the main reason this movie didn’t do that well despite good WOM was cuz the songs weren’t as good as SK’s usual films where Anirudh is the music director obviously
Actually the songs in Maaveeran were good. If Anirudh was the composer then all songs would sound like something he'd already made. Anirudh fatigue is real and it's gonna become only worse. Bharath Shankar's music is so refreshing and suited the movie well.

@rammckee6319 ❤agree with you wholeheartedly..I wonder why ppl worshipping Ani as his music is so repetitive for me .. there are way many more other good musicians there in Tamil Nadu..who can make music's with vast variations. With Ani doing music scores back to back in many movies I kinda lost track of which songs belong to which movies..as they all mostly sound so similar..at least to me.
@@DivineInt9 I agree but the reception says otherwise and ppl these days don’t appreciate music by other musicians as compared to ani, we have to face that fact. There is a reason why his songs are way more popular compared to others nowadays
