I love this new version of jon Moxley, taking pieces from everyone, from the gotch style piledriver, to the kimura lock now makes him seems more dangerous to beat
The was a fantastically done ending. It showed that Cage wouldn't have tapped and was ready to "break his shoulders" rather than lose and that Taz has a greater strategic mind than just throwing the big guy around. It even had Mox looking great, showing that he's not only a badass extreme bottle of chaos, but also a technical and mind game strategist as well.
This is honestly the best story telling in for the match to end like this. This shows that Mox doesn't need to just be known for his hardcoreness but that he can also be technical and smart. Exposing the injury that Cage has and using it to his advantage. Taz protecting his colleague from being taken away of the main picture and Cage being built up to be a serious terminator machine. This made no one no look weak but instead built both story tellers of the fued to be taken serious as a champion and that he is the one you need to beat if you want to on top of AEW and the other that he's no joke and can keep up or leave you behind with his skills
Yeah Mox played Taz. Even tho he didn't get Cage to tap out or get injured, he made Taz believe he would. That meant he didn't have to be abmr to tear BC's bicep off like he said. He just had to look like he could. Brilliant!
@@KurtisElgood Darby doesn't give a shit about size; he wants to beat the guy who put him out. Consistent with his character. Keep in mind, Darby challenged Moxley right after that lights out match against Kenny Omega. Darby doesn't care about odds or losing so much as making a name for himself.
For those saying that this loss made Brian Cage looked weak, miss the story telling in this entire match up. Cage had an arm injury which Moxley exploited. This was actually a smart way to make this win for the champion more believable. Tazz had no choice but to throw in the towel. His guy would've re torn his bicep and possibly ended his career. The story at the end was Tazz protecting Cage from further injury. It made sense for Moxley to exploit that dent In the machines armor. I thought the overall story telling during this match was told brilliantly. How do you build the prestige of a championship, and the man or woman holding said titles? By the title holder facing adversity, against all odds, and persevering through the challenge that comes with holding a title. This is what's happening right now with Cody and the TNT title. By the time these titles reach the future of AEW, the titles will have a prestigious history behind them. Everyone that holds these titles will feel honored and obligated to uphold the prestige and history of the titles they've earned, giving the titles meaning and purpose. John Moxley has faced some tough competition, so far. His reign has not been easy, and will only get tougher from here on in. This is how you build up both the championship and the title holder. Isn't logic one of the things we've been asking for from wrestling????

MrConshunce nah they both need way more time to destroy other wrestlers, Archer should never have been going for the TNT championship if he wasn’t going to win it, also been to quick for Cage to challenge if he’s not doing to win too
Heel vs heel is $$$ though, its good to build separate rivalries like that similar to NXT’s Keith Lee vs Dijakovic or The Big show vs Mark henrys matches
i mean Jericho is speaking the truth ! can't hate him on that . That title only exist within the world of Taz 😂 . it isn't even a official AEW title . no one wants that . Taz felt bad for Cage not being able to get his hands on Moxley's title so he gave him an unofficial title from back in his days
Very nice ending. Protects Cage from really losing and makes him look tough as hell. It makes Taz look like a smart business man protecting his investment as well. A criticism I do have is that Taz was holding on to or near a towel for much of the match, it makes it seem like he had little faith in Cage a lot of the time imo. On the flip side it could be seen as professionalism on Taz’s part always being ready for any outcome.
Bad booking he should have passed out or taped out by throwing towel u are asking to show mercy on your client and taz ever calls cage a monster that's a lie and also cage selling was bad his arm after the match was totally free if his arm is okay then why u throwed towel
Because you don't throw in a towel after your guy is injured. That wouldn't make any sense. If Moxley just keeps beating guys by making them pass out, it loses it's power. Taz did what was best for his guy, and rest assured cage is going to be mad it happened. But this ending puts the loss on Taz keeping cage looking strong, while the choke out of Brodie showed him to be a maniac who refused to surrender. This is how you book someone to lose but still look like a threat. If Brodie or cage had another match later on against Mox they would still feel like a plausible winner because they COULD maybe escape next time and then Moxley's game plan is kaput. Making Moxley a brawler that does his homework to make a game plan to beat his opponents is beautiful for his character. They could have built Cage up more, especially since it doesn't seem to be legit threats to Moxley. Plus, besides Omega and Jericho, were there any other Moxley feuds in AEW?
Since that Movie moxely is doing he has brought lot of stuff from MMA. This is slow built long story that has been done by AEW moxely not only hardcore but also a technical wrester with that holds and reversals. Don't get me wrong he is good wrestler but improving in ring and storytelling alot. Once he reversed Darbey Allins Coffin drop to submissions then match with Jericho and all MMA training to reverse walls of Jericho, then programme with Hager then putting Brodie Lee to sleep after hard fought match and now working on Brian cages Arm throughout the match. It protected cage and built Moxely as he is smart technician. I would love to see heel Omega vs Moxely no other man should take of that belt and that match would be 5 star classic. Omega as cleaner vs Technically sound Moxely this year at revolution 2.
Great show last night, Mox’s improvement as a wrestler over the past year is outstanding. There’s always great psychology in his matches. Can’t wait to see the David and Goliath feud for the FTW belt though.

Not sure if many of you know this, but cage and mox used to feud back in 2011 in backyard wrestling. They had some brutal matches then. It's cool to see them feuding again in 2020

Who knew " the machine" had an off switch? So impressed by Moxley. His in ring moves and his confidence is on 💯 hes on 🔥. Hes adding moves to his repertoire unlike some people who just are satisfied doing the same thing every week.
AEW king my hero Jon moxley👍
basically they build bigman up with squash matches like Hager, Archer, Brody, Cage only to lose in the big matches.
They could have built Cage up more, especially since it doesn't seem to be legit threats to Moxley. Plus, besides Omega and Jericho, were there any other Moxley feuds in AEW?
Neil Ware lol aew is just a year old
@@9jchrist1 I knew that, Cage should have had a 6 month to 12 month run, before facing Moxley. They booked themselves in a corner...
There used to be a shortage of big guys in AEW, now all of these big guys have been beaten by either the AEW or TNT champion..
Smaller guys in charge now showing reverse discrimination....lol
I love Jericho on commentary. Fun and funny
Jon giving tazz the finger was epic 😂🔥
That was a very impressive match! Love AEW very much.❤️❤️

Congrats AEW!!
Awesome match AEW . Tyvm ❤
Great show last night, Mox’s improvement as a wrestler over the past year is outstanding. There’s always great psychology in his matches. Can’t wait to see the David and Goliath feud for the FTW belt though.
Love from Nepal AEW big super star onley Jon moxley
Brother your PM is a complete asshole. He is saying Ram was Nepali🤣🤣. India and Nepal has same culture and traditions but these politicians are shit.
😂dude its pretty like redemption against your nations pm too as mr modi and many other so called leaders still advertise that buddha was born in india and lumbini is in vihar😂😂😂so why can't we say ram was born in india
We accept that ram didn't belong to nepal we are against our pm in this matter and u can check a legal document passed by government of nepal is also against of pm
But we are pissed of your so called great leaders claiming lumbini and Buddha's origin and irony is that despite being the birthland of buddha we still have to shout all over the world to make them aware
So its quite like redemption 😂😂😂but still politicians are shits i agree that
@@basanta6120 i mean at that time it was the Indian subcontinent. But anyways I laughed so hard when I heard him say that🤣🤣🤣.
@@amitgurjar4969 me too
many Memes and trolls are airing nowadays 😂😂😂
Moxley is also from nepal 🇳🇵
jon moxleeeeyyyyyyyyyy!!! will forever love this guy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can’t wait to see Darby Allen vs Brian cage.
Cage is gonna “ Marco stunt” that pip squeak
That shit better be a squash match
It better be a squash match
I'm actually okay with that finish. It protects Cage from tapping out. I also marked tf out seeing Darby back. Great match, too. Much more psychological than I had anticipated.
Lol excuses galore for aew fanboys
@@Esormi1243 what excuses??? Cage didn't pinned or submitted.....
@@nickedge6842 towel finish, looks even weaker, besides the booking from beginning was trash

I love hearing Wicca phase whenever Darby is there, makes me feel giddy
Jon Moxley entrance and theme song through the crowd gets me hyped
Mox has really evolved as a wrestler
When you look back and see what taz promised brian cage would be doing to mox he gave up pretty easy...
But anyway congrats mox you deserved this win
Cage didn’t give up, Tazz protected his protege and investment
All Elite wrestling I love watching your UA-cam videos I'm a huge fan
Thought Cage had surgery on his RIGHT bicep, but Moxley is targeting his LEFT arm
Most of the match he was working the left...but tapped him out on his right arm. They probably didnt want to take a chance re-injurying it 😌
Probably safer to target the other arm so he dosen't actually re injure it...
@Rahaman Awelenje so he doesn't re injurie it
@Rahaman Awelenje so you like seeing ppl get injured i see
Jericho's commentary just made this 10x better
Can't believe the end was like that!!
Jon Moxley fade and beard line up is on point
This match was great and imo I liked the ending.
Anything Jericho is a part of is pure gold such a talented entertaining man
Mox is one of the best fighting champions ever!! Backs up everything. Kicks ass and takes names. Come on, Darby Allin next!
Not sure if many of you know this, but cage and mox used to feud back in 2011 in backyard wrestling. They had some brutal matches then. It's cool to see them feuding again in 2020
I think cage needs more improvement to be a heel, aew needs a potential heel that's what is missing. With orange cassidy as face the company has done verry well, but they need a heel in future.
0:19 Jericho : Armbar! Armbar!
Me : Wait what? that's a kimura.
Dean Ambrose is one of the Talented guy I love he deserves the Campaign
He is jon moxley
John Moxley mate
The random guy coming out at the end to hold cage back and tax just pushing him away made it seem like he just wanted to be on TV haha
Brian cage is legend dont t treat like home boy
I know AEW will never know my name but THANK U for giving us MOXLEY
Am I the only one that sees Brian Cage as an upgraded EC3?
Brian Cage is more jacked up. But, EC3 has way more character and promo skills.
EC4 if you will
@@sceligator as Dean Ambrose once said before he retired and mysteriously dissapeared from social media. 'Where are EC1 and EC2?'
Man i love jericho's community 😍😍
Who else thought that when the lights went out, and came back on that Sabu was going to be standing in the ring pointing to the sky
*Lights off*” light guy: “is he in place? Is that him. Do I turn it on now? .......now?..............now?..............?”
Great match Mox and Cage put in this main event and the ending was something but I never thought Taz would throw in the towel after being dissed by Mox while damaging Cage's biceps
I was sitting on the edge of my seat watching this match, this was intense!!!
Moxley being badass in aew, I like it.
