You make it look easy. This process is simply not working for me. I'm having the same problem a lot of other people are having...the plate just gets all mucked up with ink covering the drawing up. I'm using water between roll ups and oil-based ink...etching in fact. I found that degreasing the plate with dish soap before drawing made a difference in getting a good etching...that 'was' part of my problem at the first but now I'm stuck at the inking up process. My only guess is that somehow oil from cleaning off the drawing is being redistributed on the clean areas again or I'm not using enough water or I'm not applying the water to the plate correctly. I've tried flooding the plate and using thin layers of water to no avail. I'm running out of troubleshooting items to list lol.
