when you say Servo Motors controlled by Infrared do you mean the main interface is via IR, rather then RS232, WIFI or Ethernet type connections or something else. for instance your trying to create some type of galvanic isolation between the stepper and the rest of the control system
in my experience , RS parts,components and other items, are questionable quality. You can call it unlucky but we had a lot of problems at work just because their quality control is terrible or non existent. The shipping is on time, but the items they sell you can find on chinese webistes they just put their logo on it. Basically I rather use amazon with its return policy
