    Hi Michael. I liked the way you said “ I’ve got a stick in case something bothers me in the night!” Like it’s no big thing. I’d definitely be scared to have any visitors. Actually, I would probably want your tent inside another tent. Double insulated. Call me squeamish. lol. I’m so glad you left your babies at home where it’s safe and keep your wife safe. I think you passed the test with flying colors! Here’s wishing that your dreams do come true. A true camping video. See you on the next one. ❤

    It is great to see you again , out doing what you love. I'm thinking about a small jumper pack something like you have for when I go snowmobiling. Looking forward to your hot tenting video , would love to see the Snow Trekker tent in action.

    That cold out those back up pull starts are good enough. Just can't pull hard enough to start that cold motor. Smart thinking camping up hill.

    I'll bet someone thinks twice next time when it comes to having that booster pack along. LOL Looks like good times there my friend. Camp's not the same without ol' Esme girl there with you. Extra cookies for those pups when you get home. God bless you my friend.

    Enjoyed the video Michael. Can't give up on the ol girl yet. She's still got a lotta life left in her. I prefer a 4 wheeler over anything else. There a lot more versatile and easier to push if you have to over a side by side. To cold for me to camp. Be safe

    I'm glad you are safe Michael. I have a "Halo Bolt" jump starter/battery. Saved me and my daughter about 5 times now. Best Regards Kevin

    That’s pretty scary thank goodness you weren’t too far away. This reminds me of your old days camping in a hammock. This was a nice surprise to see you on a cold night while I’m snuggled in my warm bed with a nice cup of hot tea lol as my mother used to say there’s never any mistakes they’re always lessons learned. I bet you make sure you have a new battery next time. lol glad you are safe MICHAEL. Cheers my friend.

    I have watched your outdoor adventures for years. You have had quite an array of off road vehicles. I remember a Honda Pioneer 500, argo 6x6 , can am hd 10, Jeep wrangler Rubicon and now a 4 wheeler. Well I guess they all have their advantages and disadvantages.

    Glad to see this video!!! Do you still have your Teton cot tent? I still take mine out a bunch of times every year . It's such a solid piece of kit! Not sure if it would fit on the quad though. But anyway thanks for the video! Looking forward to your future uploads

    If it's any consolation mate, the jump pack probably wouldn't have done you any good at camp unless you kept it in the bottom of your gronk bag, lithium batteries don't like the cold either. Physic Steve see's a trip to Princess Auto in your future! Great video mate, living in South East Queensland we rarely see temp's in the low single digits let alone -15 to -20 and as stupid as it might sound, I do miss the cold at times. I'm off this week but my temp's are going to be overnight lows of high teens/low 20's with the days in the high 20's/low 30's so a nice cold camp sitting around the fire in the evening sound's good right now.

    Happy New Year, Michael. Nice to see you camping again although, I don't think I would enjoy this way at my age. I need an enclosed tent with a woodstove. You picked a great spot, lots of trees to cut down on wind and lots of firewood around. Good thing you were on a hill. Have you ever thought of getting a snowmachine?

    it is important to have a pull start atv when you out alone without starter

  • @rjl7765
    @rjl7765 8 годин тому

    Pushing an 800 lb atv should warm you up pretty good. I guess you don't have a pull start on your quad? My old Honda has a pull start, but it is hard to pull over when it's cold.

    Porcupine Hills?
    I have a friend who enjoys hunting there.
    I hope you get further west soon for your sake. I would also struggle in the South east, so far from beautiful woodlands. Being less than a hour from woodlands is a blessing I am thankful for

    I didn’t care if my battery was brand-spanking new… I always took it to bed with me and put it at the bottom of the fart sack.
