In my opinion, the only reason for you to complain is because you are looking at it as a re-seller and not just a customer. To me, considering the type of mystery box they are doing (damaged one) was pretty clear they are referring to the actual ppg, not taking in count of the damages (which are not that heavy).

He's hardly complaining as opposed to giving a running commentary for the viewers about the actual box conditions. Would you rather he sat there and said nothing?
We know they are damaged, it says so in the title but how damaged they are does affect the value. Given that's theres a guaranteed box value why wouldn't he check if the box conditions affected that threshold.
I swear people just complain for the sake of it now and don't actually watch the videos properly.

It wasn't bad at all. I think Toy USA was being fair, you know they need to get rid of the damaged ones.. It was smart to buy more boxes. On the other hand, if someone isn't a collector and just want to play a $5 pop you can't wrong on that either. I can't take the risk of losing of my own money but I always enjoyed watching these mystery boxes. It just fun.

Zach M because theses word be wroth that much if you were hunting these down on eBay or mercari there save open collection the trouble of opening a mint pop that sells for more plus he got a lot of theses prices wrong with how much I’ve seen some of theses one go on eBay or Mercari
You are wrong when saying " you can't get full PPG if the boxes are damaged ". Don't forget that PPG is based on eBay sales and Pops on eBay are not mint. If you own a completely mint pop, its value is higher than PPG. If the box is slightly damaged, like 8.5 to 9.5 then its PPG value. If it has more damages then its a bit lower. But PPG value is built from all kinds of box conditions.
So you're saying that the PPG values are only for damaged pops and in fact all pops in mint condition should be valued higher?
Do you have any analytics to show that these values are based on damaged pops? I've purchased plenty of pops from ebay that have been mint... So wouldn't that screw with the actual PPG value since according to you ebay only sells damaged pops?
@@inceptional8814 I never said PPG values are for damaged Pops. I said PPG values are made out of eBay sales and most of them are not mint. So yes if your Pops is absolument minty mint, its value is higher than PPG. When you are on PPG on a specific Pop's page, scroll down to the "Sales history" section and click on different eBay auction links. You'll see some are very nice while others are far from perfect.

Damaged pops and mint pops go into the value of ppg. I almost always get full ppg value for damaged pops unless it's absolutely destroyed.
Maxwell327 that’s weird because every time I try to sell pops with even the slightest damage people always try to talk me down or won’t take them at all. Pop collectors are the worst when it comes to condition. You’ve been lucky if you’ve gotten full value.

Toyusa normally only guarantees half of the cost of the box. For damaged boxes, they guarantee the full value. I'm sure they could go thru every box & account for damage, but it saves a lot of time just guaranteeing the full value. Other companies have guaranteed values well over the cost of the box.

Awesomly sweet pulls. I appreciate your honesty, I've seen resellers asking full Ppg value for pops with no boxes, so seeing someone like you is a breath of fresh air. That Indiana Jones pop is probably #1 on my wish list. The Indiana Jones series of movies are my favorite all time movies so i would love to score one of them Indiana jones pops that are out there, unfortunately i wont pay what they are going for so i will probably never get one. Toyusa gurentees their value at mint condition prices on ppg...it states it in the terms and conditions...they don't take off for damage...
And that is wrong on there part also

Yeah they should definitely be taking off for the damage. It may just be a few bucks but that’s not right. They should be making sure to cover an extra 5 to 10 dollars to allow for price drops and damage. A guarantee is a guarantee and I would call them out on it. Maybe they’ll do something to make it up. Very misleading and they need to change that. Also ppg value is typically higher than actual selling price. I know they don’t consider that but eBay prices are always going to be a little less.
You lucky bugger. I keep seeing that metallic beerus I think that's a sign I need to pick it up. It's been a top grail of mine to get since iv been collecting. Currently have the flocked but that metallic is awesome.

I can't get too bent out of shape on these coming in under guaranteed value as modern Collectibles such as Funko Pops are notorious for fluctuation in value, often with little reason for it. so i find it plausible the prices changed between packing and opening and as long as the difference was less than ten percent i'd let it go. That said i know how anal many collectors can get about condition.
Then why buy damage box?

You do know that toyusaa2011 is hand picking these pops for you right? I bought 2 to 8 mystery boxes from toyusa2011 and my buddies did the same thing and we never even got our guarentee values back. Toyusaa2011 is using your youtube as free advertising and literally sending you good products. I mean i guess thats the bonus of having a youtube show. Im not mad at you i just know that toyusaa2011 knows certain names and businesses and they seem to have mathematically impossible better odds than the average joe like myself lol. Thus far between my buddies and I we have purchased 32 toyusa2011 mystery boxes from 50 dollar to 300 dollar mystery boxes and have never hit a single grail and and only about 30 percent ever hit the guaranteed value. Doesnt make sense does it lol.

Guaranteed value of any mystery box is time of them making the box. Not the time of you getting it. And for someone who hit the Indiana Jones you did Ton complaining. Not mention you bought boxes that state right in terms they have minor damage and major damage. Also says best for out box collectors so should read and spend less time complaining just saying. Spends 400 gets 546 complains till the end when gets the grail 😂

Signing the front of the box is the norm, usually on the clear plastic.

It’s unfair for you to judge PPG value on Mint boxes as they aren’t the only thing they take into account when counting sales. I remember a bunch of pops taking a hit when damaged posts started popping up. So you did get your moneys worth after all!
