A year ago today actually, I took my first class at 1Million and it was Shawn's class. We danced to No Guidance and he picked me dance alongside him for the filming even though I was the worst dancer in the bunch.
He told me that it doesn't matter to be the best or technical, he saw I tried the hardest.
That footage never released, but that is SUCH a strong memory I have for dance that a year later now today I am still dancing because of how much Shawn inspired me. He might not know how much of an impact he had on me, but he changed my life and I want to go back to Korea when COVID is over and he is back from the army is to learn from him again.
You are the best teacher, Shawn ❤

It is so fu*king fascinating how someone who's expression during performing is so on point, sensual and confident, even arrogant (in a good way) and than you see him talking and suddenly he is this CUTE AS PERSON that even is SHY OF INTERVIEWS?? I mean, that is so amazing to see, so professional, that he can just switch to that attitude thing when it comes to dancing, you have my biggest respect. Not many people are able to do that oof

I used the follow the cherographers at 1 million religiously on insta and never missed a video. That was like 3 years ago. Got busy with studies. Gave up my obsession of watching dance videos lol. But it's so nice to still see them and see that they're doing well.

I was really wondering why he isn't showing up on 1M's channel anymore, but only because I didn't know about this video back then. I don't think they will be doing interviews for the old choreographers who are not full time at 1Million anymore like Junsun, Hyojin or Koosung.
@@froggerc625 wdym they aren't full time?
@@02anmolhanns3 There is lots of speculation why many of the choreographers left last year or went part time at 1Million. Maybe they felt they were not getting enough money for the amount of youtube hits their videos received and generated money for the studio, maybe they wanted to spend more time dancing at other studios or other choreography related activities. May J Lee left saying she had a plantar fasciitis issue but never came back. Probably a variety of reasons.
