    I kept the chocolate divider base as well, and coloured it with spray paint. It's very useful for keeping my earrings apart. :-)

      That's exactly what I did a few years ago. I have 2 boxes holding most of my earrings. They stack easily inside the drawer of my vanity table leaving room for the rest of my things.

    Adding the hinges is such a good idea! I have several Rocher boxes I use with the inside organizer for my rings and earnings. Just like you said, it is such a pain trying to close it when I'm in a hurry. Thank you!

    You are amazing! This is brilliant! And you have a good eye...that container is absolutely gorgeous...I've never seen anything like it. Beautiful acrylic is SO hard to find. I'll bet they'd charge at least $30 for it by itself.

    An easier way to get off that second label which I just did is using anti bacterial hand gel - put some on for 5 seconds and then use the side of a ruler to scrub it off gently and the wipe it off with a tissue. Took me literally 30 seconds incase anyone doesn't fancy spending 23 minutes. Came off super easily and clean. :)

      because that's just how they have learned to talk by hearing their peers parents and all people in their country say it!! Its lovely to hear the differences I think!! IE sidewalk for pavement 'Drug store' for Chemist etc Its called Colloquialisms when people from different countries or even counties called something by a different name than others do. Viva la difference Enjoy!!

    • @christinesharland8478
      @christinesharland8478 7 років тому +1

      Its just a generic term that a lot of American use for all sweets and chocolate It makes no difference if its chocolate or other kinds of sweets its still called 'CANDY' Why are a lot of English so ignorant? We need to expand our knowledge then we wouldn't need to ask naive questions.

    Another idea is you could add a mirror to the inside of it, so then you can have a large mirror to do your makeup with. ^_^ That's probably what I would do with mine and just buy hinges that stop at a certain angle so I don't have to hold the mirror up. :)

      breethebree that would be really cute. Maybe spray paint the container a shimmery gold or silver (or whatever color you want) to hide the gray part of the mirror.

    I used these Ferrero containers when i was little! ... as storage for Barbie's shoes and accessories :) Since they're so tiny i didn't want them to get lost. I didn't want to break up a pair of Barbie's heels so i had to keep them together!

  • @artisanshrew
    @artisanshrew 9 років тому +41

    FYI: I have used Polish remover, Pure Acetone, Rubbing Alcohol, Denatured Alcohol, (every oil on the planet) even WD40 - among numerous other "Goo Gone" type Products.... However... NOTHING works more rapidly (with zero effort/rubbing/scraping/markups than A CONCENTRATED ESSENTIAL OIL!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
    Obviously the scent does not matter, but it takes less than one tiny drop per price tag to get stickers/labels off!!!! Just apply enough to visibly saturate your sticker and wait 5 minutes....
    You WILL 🙏🏻 Thank Me I Promise!!! 😉👍🎁
    HAPPY CRAFTING! Merry Christmas!!! 💁🏻🎄😇

    This is a really cute idea... I would probably only do this if I was gifted the chocolate however because the chocolates are about $12-15 and I could get a container at the dollar store or the craft store cheaper than that (already ready to use)... but the design on the top is sooo cute, I may have to try this anyway ;) and add a magnet sheet to the bottom so I can use it as a homemade Z-palette.

I’ve actually saved a lot of these to use as carriers for mini cupcakes (even with icing) to transport to my twins’ birthday parties at school. I never had to take the cupcakes out for better presentation, as they were also awesome trays to serve out of. Now without the labels, even better.
