The way to adjust a slipper is grab both tires and try to spin the spur with your thumb. It should be difficult to turn. That's the way we adjusted them on our rc 10s back in the days.
Yeah, you can see I did that in the video (unless I edited it out). it was pretty tight. I figure after we run it a bit, we will need to adjust them anyway.
@@TheShopMiniRCI’m having trouble finding larger than 18t pinions in .5 mod and 2mm bore. I’m also having the same problem finding smaller spur gears for the Losi mini platforms. Im modding one of the new mini b brushless RTRs.
About to get one of these soon what would be easiest way to make these as low maintenance as possible mate? Im going to put the spool in so it's diffless as it be off road anyway would you recommend putting the slipper clutch eliminatior in aswell mate or any good tips so I don't have to keep adjusting it etc or isn't it bad anyway mate thankyou 🙏💚👊
@@sTuPiDiScOoL_ the slipper is for when your wheels end up not matching ground speed. It helps the wheels and trans/spool/diff catch up without putting extreme strain on the drivetrain.
@@TheShopMiniRC that's cool mate I understand that I'm just saying if no jumps being done with it etc and it's off road or lose dirt etc n not stupid driving then an eliminator would work is what I meant bro I don't do jumps or compete and all that stuff mate and I don't hammer my rcs I just don't like the maintenance and having to mess with slippers etc so thought would ask if it would be a good choice if I was careful etc

This is the most kitted out mini I've seen yet. There's another guy on UA-cam with a micro T that's insanely fast
Haha, yeah, this one has a lot of bling for sure.
Excellent video
Thank you very much!

Ready for some mini t racing
Lessss gooooooooooo
Well done thanks for the good tips
Thanks a ton for watching.
Thank you for sharing. BTW where you get those set of tires ? I’ve been looking for tire options on mini B. I had the previous gen..
They are on Amazon. You need a hex adapter.
hi my friend, can you tell me please, what the size in "mm"of the center hole of the original spur gear?
7mm
do you have a pinion suggestion to diminish the cogging?
You would go smaller. Simple as that. Try 1 tooth smaller and see if that helps, if not, another tooth smaller.

All that bling and your running the stock servo saver..
Hahhaa till it dies.

Do u got parts list for yer mini t hop ups
Sorry. I don’t have a specific list.
where did you get those capture ball ends?
Timestamp so I know what exactly you’re asking about?
@@TheShopMiniRC The captured ends where on you Losi mini t 2.0 that you were basing with and had all the aluminum stuff on it from about a year ago
Cool video man. Thanks. Where you get that blue hobby tray from? 👍🏻
All my desk gear is listed at the bottom of every video description!
How is your differential setup? The wheels seam to behave in a strange way,,
That’s something I need to look at for sure.

Slipper clutch Elim is more for onroad. If you are jumping, you want a slipper clutch.
@@TheShopMiniRC it is for on road and general driving on short grass and dry dirt brother I won't be doing jumps or anything with it 🙏💚👊

Have a video on ur mini t? I’d like to upgrade one similar thanks
They are very similar. Just different chassis and bodies mounts (and shock lengths). All of the drivetrain is the exact same.
Men what tires and weels using? Requerid adaptador?

I wouldn’t. But I guess it depends on what you’re doing. Gluing the slipper will resulting in more breakages. Lol

@@TheShopMiniRCfound them locally... these have the same hex size?
@@bsg75husker they should be correct. if they are labeled for Mini B or Mini T2.0, it will fit.
That slipper sounds super loose. Something is definitely off on the gears. It sounds terrible
It was a little loose for sure, but got it tightened up during the rebuild!
