My favorite song released so far from this album is Visiting Hours, specifically the performance video. He wrote this for a friend who passed away. The choir sounds so good singing behind him in the performance video, it’s full of emotion.

@@sharonscurti8024 you’re welcome! He wrote this as a tribute to his friend and Australian music legend-Michael Gudinski. He performed this at Michaels memorial service, he got emotional during the performance. It was beautiful.

You've been the only reactor to this song on UA-cam that listened to the lyrics and I applaud you for it. We all have that "Overpass Graffiti" person in our past and this song is a beautifully done tribute to them. A great song touches and moves me deeply and "Overpass Graffiti" did exactly that . I don't know if the song is apologetic in nature or is just meant to tell them that their time together was important and never forgotten. Regardless it's a beautiful song and I just wanted to say thank you for your reaction...
Wonderful song.❤️ I liked Bad Habits and Shivers too. I'm excited to buy the new album. I just read on line in people magazine that Ed had a slight stutter as a young kid. So he rapped along with Eminems songs to overcome it. Everyone has challenges in life ❤️
Great reaction and loved the commentary at the end. I have been feeling the same for while. The worlds so dark and heavy right now and I miss the simplicity of the 80s and 90s too. There felt like there was alot of hope then, not quite so much these days.

Great commentary, dude...not just about this great, but about society in general. You've pretty much hit the nail on the head: social media is bleeding the colour from childhood and fewer kids are actually interacting the way we did in our youth. I fully appreciate it's normal for one generation to frown upon the next, but the idea that our devices bring us closer together is a myth; in my opinion, the opposite is true.

Honestly, nearly every song on the album is sentimental. He got married and became a dad, and it’s clearly made him both happy and contemplative.
I agree with you have been thinking that myself. I really noticed this shift this may sound odd, even within the two latest Star Trek series (Discovery and Picard) they have shifted to mankind being more dark and destructive as compared to the optimism of the original ….. I retreat to the positive and the happiness I can, at times, find on UA-cam and in the lives of my grandchildren. We need to have a culture shift to more positive to help everyone.
I don’t know if anyone has told you this. But Ed Sheeran doesn’t have a cell phone. Back after his X tour he took a break where he went all over the world with his now wife, and they didn’t have cell phones. He is such a down to earth dude. And I’m so happy seeing you reacting to him.
I really really like this song and it’s my favourite release of this era, but I haven’t been able to put my finger on why it sounds so familiar. It really reminds me of boys of summer so much so, I’m actually wondering if it’s sampled ?

I’m with you on Ed Sheeran. He’s ok but none of his songs make me go OMG when o hear it and I don’t rush to listen again. EXCEPT for one song that was on the Sons of Anarchy soundtrack called Make it Rain. Don’t know if it would have had the same impact on me if it hadn’t been on SOA though. EDIT lol just saw the bit where he gets a lift off the leader of the Mayans MC from sons of anarchy haha
