Awsome video! Your craft is definitely improving and looking very professional, I enjoyed this and was waiting for a moment to comment and it was when I think you realised you might need a vice grip to cut t piece of lol keep it up
Great video can you please post a list of all the parts you used for this upgrade. I need to replace the barrel and o ring I’m losing a lot of pressure when shooting due to o ring wear. And you are right if you gotta open up the gun, might as well do the rest in one go.
cheers for the upload, I have taken mine apart and not much gel balls in the chamber but mine only seems to fire if I turn it upside down then the clip runs out and turn it up normal, prime it and turn it back upside down.... do I need to upgrade the cylinder/ or the o ring?
This is why i always clean my gun with a water dispersant or electronics cleaning spray after use. Gets all the water out, water equals corrosion. But jeeezuss theres way too much work involved for me to ff around with it. Where are you based cuz id pay ya to upgrade my new gun
Ok now just want to let people know that when you remove the plunger cylinder and put a gen8 one without the air hole you don’t need to install a longer barrel that’s a myth currently I’m running a shorter barrel inside mine with the new cylinder without the air hole and it shoots perfectly fine. So proven wrong that you don’t have to upgrade your barrel to a longer barrel it’s not a must. You’ll be fine to keep it the short one👍🏻 try it if you don’t believe my word. I’d be perfectly happy to show you🤪
Please show me. I’m new to this and trying to educate my self. I just purchased a vector v2 a month ago. And after putting around 20,000 balls through it, has taken its toll on the o ring and plastic barrel and needs upgrading.
I'm a novice myself so don't quote me on this, but a bloke at a shop was saying that the main reason to port the cylinder for shorter barrels is to reduce wear and tear on the pison head, cylinder head, and pegs that hold the cylinder head at the front of the gearbox casing. His logic being that the gel in the barrel helps to add a dampening force on how hard the piston impacts the head. With a short barrel, the gel has left the barrel halfway through the piston stroke, so doesn't give any dampening on the last half of the stroke where it is better to have it. So he reasoned that it will help your blaster last longer if you try to keep to a ratio of the cylinder volume being about 1.8x the barrel volume. I could be wrong, but I think the vector as stock is about a 2.1x.
Didnt see your in qld too, have you upgraded your gears, motor and mosfet board? Id really love to bolster up mine, been seeing a lot of metal gears on ebay etc. But again lot of work
@Jake Black ok, so I think it was the mosfet, so I ended up needing to buy a new one, stock ones are quite cheap. To make sure take the leaflets out of thr magazine and put the leaflets in the vector together, to see if it primes. It could just be a contact issue
Hai there. I’m from malaysia...I just start using this vector about 1 month...this is very perfect video for me to start upgrade my vector.. but it to much screw to unscrew...can u give me a little bit advice before I start working on it sir 🙏🏻

this happened to my vector aswel on the weekend except, it was the feeder not the primer...also at guerilla blasters hahah. that field is cursed lmao

Good vids bro love the work keep em comin
That's what happened to mine
where do I get the specs or buy the parts for the upgrade I just bought my vector about a week ago

Not the cylinder just the oRing

Who /what is this ping ping that you mentioned about where you got the 3d printed parts from?
Didnt see your in qld too, have you upgraded your gears, motor and mosfet board?

But again lot of work
Definitely a lot of work you have to modify the gearbox. Have upgraded my vector to V2 mosfet
Mine won't prime at all but it doesn't seem to be wiring issue or gels in the gear box I'm lost with what to do
Did you ever find out why it wouldn't prime

the top frame has the longer screw , bottom half 6 short screws , 3 on each side . 2 long screws are used to secure the ejection port as well
mckennan tq so much. It help me alot.
WAKK JULL no worries mate
where is the 2nd video? you should have mentioned part 1 of 2
