Things I did not know: 1. only one brake line for both rears. 2. had rear sway bar. I thought with that axle type one wouldn't need a sway bar. 3. The front transverse control arms are triangulated via a front radius rod vs an A-frame type lower or rearward compression control arm. 4. E-brake is very simplistic, suprissed by the way it is tensioned. 5. Looks like a steering box vs rack and pinion as evidenced by the damper tube and the pittman arm. I had no idea they didn't use R&P yet. 6. Drums in back. I thought a highline car like this would already have 4 wheel discs. I was born in 1979 so I am mainly used to the post malaise era vehicles, especially the metric ones. This is stuff I never knew before seeing this. Cool stuff being able to see the ORG presentation.
Glad it was educational! Great observations! I think the only car from the 60s and early 70s to have 4 wheel disc brakes was the Corvette. It was an upgrade just to have disc brakes in the front. Also, the staggered/offset rear shocks (on either side of the axle) was specific to the Boss Mustangs (other Mustangs did not have this). Thanks for the feedback!
It was! Here is a video of it running. Didn't run it down the road open piped, just pulled it out for this video ua-cam.com/video/9tljcxeba3I/v-deo.html
