Love the video! Quick question - what was the quick growing hedge plant behind the Mexican sage?

Hi Hannah, I love your premaculture garden. It's my dream. But my request is about Brussel sprouts. Tassie is similar to Canberra weather, Do/Can you grow them? Wrong season but could you do a video next autumn on how to grow the towers to. Are they the same as the kale trees maybe?

Good on you. As a suburban Melbournite it’s awesome to see what you’ve been able to achieve on the “marginal” land. So vibrant and alive.

How do you keep possums out of your edibles? It's a never ending battle to try to keep them out of the system here (up north in Tassie) on our 4 acres out in the bush. We have tried to create enclosed areas but the possums are always one step ahead of us and keep finding ways to break in and once they do, they can do an incredible amount of damage. Your garden looks fabulously productive. Awesome job guys! :)

After the recent chaotic weather everyone around the world has been experiencing. Your video felt just like the arrival of Spring, bringing much needed hope to us all! Also, what you guys have achieved on what is akin to a mountain slope, is a big kick up the backside for not making more use of my own garden! Thank you for the inspiration!

You mean "South Hobart" don't you. I have similar steep landscaping problems here at the bottom of Hillborough road. The soil here is also super hydrophobic. Good to know that some of your bees might be working to pollinate my vegies and providing you with honey!

I am so glad to see you bubble up in my UA-cam feed. My wife and I are thinking seriously of relocating to Tassie from Queensland and developing a permaculture garden because we have something similar in Queensland, although we didn't know it at the time when we purchased our house, so we may need your help when we get down there. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to the next update. Cheers!

I was pleased to hear that kale can be pruned in a way to keep it going over several years. I have a Tuscan kale growing on Ngunnawal country (cold winters and hot dry summers) that has been going for about a year but is starting to flower as the weather warms up.
Do you know if it will die after flowering? Could I perhaps stop it from flowering to keep it going? Keen to have a constant supply and turn it into a kale tree if possible so any advice would be appreciated!
