A Glass Of Milk its different for a few tracks. witness and most others are in Drop A# with the lowest tuned to G, like they did with the river on the debut album. then stitch is A# then the song pitch shifts to F at the outro. this song as well as indestructible are drop G#. but they do indeed use drop tune pedals though, just to save messing with tunings and swapping guitars i guess.
no, its mostly about the pickups, it would sound like shit with standart fender single coils...EMG Pickups turn almost any piece of turd into somewhat suitable metal guitar...
only bassists will understand the feel, when we cant hear the bass on songs that we like. all metal band should have a audible bass like the contortionist for example.
If you guys get more into producing stuff, you'd actually hear more bass it's pretty cool, because I hear it standing out so well, Andrew Wade is such an amazing producer for this. Behind the guitars there's actually a Grit bass that is distorted for more audible bass in the mix!
What tuning is this? I know they play Drop A# and Drop A# with the low string tuned to G instead. This seems like Drop G# (can jam along this song with my 7 string tuned to Drop G# without any problem) I´m confused...
Limi Thonger only a Tuner? Or i need to calibrate the guitar?? My guitar is in drop C but a few years ago i calibrated them because a friend recomens me. (Sorry my english sucks! im from argentina :) ).
I really wish the vocala were a little quieter in this mix. I can barely some of the riffs in the verses. Love the vocals, but that isn't why I'm watching a playthrough, you know?
Ana Cristina You'll know it when you play bass in any genre of Metal band. It is impossible to find that particular sound of bass but the bass makes the song sound better. You'll hear better when they play live.
These damn playthroughs are BEAUTIFUL!!
this guitar playthrough series is so cool!
Dat intro riff always gets me
0:26 That’s such a tasty riff
the bassist never gets enough credit!!! look at those fucking thick beautiful strings springing! pluck on dude!
Wish these playthroughs had drums w/ them

Drop G# for those wondering
is that for all their songs in this album?
no the album has songs in A# G# G and F they use drop tune pedals

Alex Serban Boy people been using strats for metal
IE Iron Maiden, and the guitarist from Slipknot uses a tele
Alex Serban român?
no, its mostly about the pickups, it would sound like shit with standart fender single coils...EMG Pickups turn almost any piece of turd into somewhat suitable metal guitar...
Alex Serban also Seth (white guitar) plays a tele live
Pickups and string gauge my guy
what guitar is he exactly using? first one in the video
Seth's watch though
To anyone that can answer my question: What effect is in that intro? Is there a pedal that can replicate that?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I can't tell if I can hardly hear the bass, or if I'm transposing it in my head. 😂

Not really, he's among one of the best bassists in the scene.
I'm not just saying that, i know him and Seth personally, greatest dudes in the scene.

Florian Baiker Tuning is Drop G#
They don't only play in drop A#, you know? Like, The River, on the last album was in Drop G

Mercau Pablo Martin Use a tuner.
Limi Thonger only a Tuner? Or i need to calibrate the guitar?? My guitar is in drop C but a few years ago i calibrated them because a friend recomens me. (Sorry my english sucks! im from argentina :) ).

Making FL proud!
I would trade one of my kidneys for one of those Strats.
Gage Theyre just Jim Root signatures you can buy them, No need to sell your organs
The vocals are too loud in the mix. :/
Add smooth vocals kids

Why does this band even have a bass player?
leerey14 What's wrong ???
Limi Thonger It isn't wrong, it's just impossible to hear it :(

@@limi. exactly dude, anyone saying they cant hear the bass knows nothing about music and is listening on crappy speakers
