This front office only confirm again and again how cheap they really are, the won´t pay Bates, because supposly they were going to extende Higgins, then they didn´t want to extend Reader because they didn´t want to spend some extra money to out bit the lions, then didn´t want to pay Hendrikson the money he deserves, didn´t extende Jamar Chase either... So instead that they give the team and their players all the tools to perform at their best, this front office hinder with their best left players as one obstacule more to deal with, and then, NOTHING to support but players for the practice squad! Man! After all this years as a hard on Bengals fan (1988) when I as a little kid choose to love this team because I loved his helment, I´m feeling disgusting of this front office! That just want to have a mediocre team to sell tickets and not to compete for a superbowl. This front office doesn´t deserve us as a fans! Sell the team to another Cincinatti business person!
Yes. They are leaving Anarumo out to dry. We saw what he could do and how he could fashion plans against any team if he just has a functional core. He needs a pass rush, a NT, a legit corner, and a good safety and with these tools he can maximize his LB play and construct a plan against anyone. Just a reminder, the Bengals would be 1 and done in both post season appearances if it weren't for the defense and their adjustments. And now it looks very likely that they will miss the playoffs with no defense to carry them, even with one of the most expensive offenses in the league. Very bad team management.
Their morale and cohesion are off... they probably feel unappreciated and unwanted because Mr. Brown under values their players not named Burrow. I did 22 yrs in the Army, so I know about team building and morale. They are professionals, so, they are going to play, but if they see that the front office isn't paying their other top guys, like Chase, and Higgins, and let go Bates and Reader, and then they let Mixon go like they were trying to pay Chase or Higgins, they won't perform at the highest level. Mr. Brown said that players were asking for money that he didn't think they deserved... with this mentality, we probably will never win the Super Bowl in my lifetime. 😢
Funny how Lou is getting head coaching interviews when he has talented players, and then the Bengals devoid the defense of essentially all its talent (minus Trey) and BOOM he's on the hot seat. If the Bengals get rid of Lou it's going to be even harder to continue to stand behind this lousy organization
